Thor Sector Knee Guard
Can't beat the price
You know what? For $14, just get a set. Throw them on when working on your bike or detailing your car, padding your knees from your driveway or garage. Going for an aggressive street ride? Toss them on over or under your jeans. Hitting the trails on a dirt bike? Put them under your motocross pants, no more shin or knee injuries. I just wore these for 6 hours of dirt riding yesterday, they stayed in place and saved me from a few bruises. They come down just to the point where taller boots will end, so you have continuous protection up your shins to your knees.

Good for street riding
I have big knees, thick calves and these fit very good! Offer much better protection than simple jeans. Wear it under my pants (regular 33-34/32). Always remain in place and easy to move. For such low price - one of the best buys I think.

These fit well and offer very good protection value. Revzilla's distribution is flawless. My only comment is one of design. The flapping upper section of this protector, as with most protectors of this kind that i've seen, is annoying. I've already retrofitted my wife's pair with an elastic at the top, and it provides a much more solid fit. Since I haven't "used" it in an accident yet, I wonder: is there a reason for the upper section to be loose? In my imagination, it would work best if it's strapped down in an accident... Wish a product designer would clarify this feature :-)

The price is right
I think I paid like $10-$13 just to have some decent shin/knee protection when riding. This fit the bill. Simple enough... knee/shin guards. Dress for the crash, not for the ride. Buy'em.

If you ride with textile or any sort of fabric pants these will be a great upgrade from the stock knee protection. Will protect against slow speed or light to medium abrasion crashes. They stay in place fine and are easy to remove and put on.

Good for commuting
I use this for commuting over the jeans. They are very quick to put on and off and fit real nice.
I prefer to wear this when commuting that using special riding pants that would take longer for me to get ready.

Great for the price
I purchased these guards mostly because of the price and good reviews. I was able to fit these under a pair of AE boot cut jeans, and I'm a 32/32 (not parachute pants). It was a tight fit getting them on under the jeans, but once they were on it wasn't very restrictive. They stayed in place during my ride and felt pretty protective.

While it is true that you can velcro these shut, I prefer to have them attached with as much velcro stuck together as possible, making these slightly small for me. The knee portion is slightly wobbly and I kind of feel like it might get pushed aside in an accident. However, these are great for the price! They are likely to hold up well in any street setting at legal speeds, and make great shin guards in addition to boots and pants with knee armor.
