Thor Force Knee Guards

The Thor Force Knee Guard offers extensive coverage, great comfort, and exceptional performance. Designed for riders who require more coverage than conventional kneeguards, but less support than expensive kneebraces, the Force Knee Guard is in a class by itself.

Utilizing a floating, molded kneecup that’s encapsulated in durable Aramid material our innovative dual-pivot system mimics the action of the knee without the bulky mechanics that can get hung up on your bike. So you’ll feel more like you’re wearing standard knee guards, and less like a human robot.

The Force Knee Guards are also anatomically correct, so there’s a specific left and right side which match the contour of your legs for improved comfort and reduced chafing

  • Perforated Airprene chassis for support and secure fit
  • Extended thigh protection
  • Impact resistant, polyethylene knee cup is encapsulated in durable
  • Aramid fiber for maximum coverage

Excelent Product Excelente product at a very affordable price. Fits good, but doesn´t have too much airflow (although is supossed to be that way) October 22, 2014
Awesome product The pads feel very well made, provide as much protection as you could ask for, and are very comfortable. I don't even realize i'm wearing them while riding. March 6, 2014
Not a knee brace or a knee pad I thought this fit pretty well trying it on at home, but when riding the hinges on the sides dug into my knees in an uncomfortable way and I found it hard to grip the tank. I fell, just a small crash, and the hinges dug in quite hard and bruised my knee a lot. It seems I would've been better off in that situation with a regular knee pad. Who knows what will happen in a big crash if it will work well enough as a knee brace to save my ACL. They are quite warm with the neoprene type wrap around. Also they seem a little bit small in the shin/ calf area. The velcro doesn't close all the way around my calf and the shin plate is a bit small. I ordered a small/medium because I am a 5'6'', 125lb girl and couldn't imagine not fitting into a men's small. But I am assuming the small size is made for kids. Though I also believe the next size up would be too big. Overall, would not buy them again, but am going to rock them for a while despite their flaws. February 25, 2014
Best choise from this money! It`s great knee guards! Dressing them I feel like a tank)) Best value and protection! Must have for all! November 9, 2013
Good protection - tight fit. Knee guard stays in place and provides good protection. I do not notice them once I am riding. They are a bit warm and are soaked with sweat after an hour of riding - but don't really notice it while riding. October 17, 2013
Kneepain-away After three surgeries on my right knee and one on the left, these guards work great to help stabilize my knees. They took a bit to get use to, but now they fit snug and comfy. Airflow is okay, it does not get very sweaty under the guards in hot weather. It is pretty obvious you got them on under any pants, but they are surprisingly comfortable to sit around in and they definitely feel like good protection. September 11, 2013
So far so good. A half dozen or so rides in, and I'm quite pleased with them. Good impact protection, some resistance to travel in the wrong direction. I haven't ridden in any proper summer heat with them yet, but they're always good and sweaty when I take them off, but my knees and shins aren't feeling uncomfortable hot. I've crashed in them a few times, and they have done exactly what they are supposed to do, and more than I expected. My only complaint is that somehow, the Velcro on the back strap always seems to find a way to start stabbing me in the leg. It gets uncomfortable, but not unbearable. May 14, 2013
Too bulky, way too hot Just ordered these hoping for something I could wear under loose fit jeans. They look like they would really hold up and would provide a lot of protection, but they are just too bulky for me. They fit under my jeans, but when I sat down the knee area of the jeans were really tight. You could ride with the combo, but it would wear through the sides of your jeans really quickly. If it were just the bulkiness it wouldn't be an issue, most people probably have some loose riding pants they like (my jeans are very relaxed fit though). The main problem is, these guards are very hot. The wrap around fabric is like a thick neoprene knee sleeve. My leg was sweating within just a few minutes, and I was just walking around inside my house. I can't imagine wearing these in the summer or even a warm spring or fall day. Since the plastics are pretty much solid, I don't see how being on the bike would help airflow-wise. Maybe if you're cruising along at highway speeds some air would get through, but offroad no way. I wish I had a local place where I could have tried them on. It cost $16 to ship these back the Revzilla. April 11, 2013

Todd K: I wear these under my KLIM Badlands pants. these were cheap and I bought as a "proof of concept." they were protective during my many spills on the Colorado BDR. I would imagine if i spent more (I will next time) the more you spend the more comfort you can expect. May 11, 2014

Kenderkin: I'd say it's even better under pants (not to worry it fits under buggy, not those sissy tight ones mind you). I don't like it when there are things protruding from the side such as screws that might scratch the gas tank though... Jun 13, 2011

awl51: I wear them under Duluth Firehose Loggers, which have fairly baggy legs. They just fit with a little wiggle room. Depends on the type of jean - might work with something that's fairly baggy. Aug 17, 2012

A shopper asked: hello,
would these fit under a pair of draggin jeans? I would ideally like to wear them under coz I fear the bolts would scratch the tank. Any inputs would be appreciated.

Cheers

Ross M: Really doubtful they would fit under jeans. Maybe dirt bike pants, the jean fabric isn't pliable enough in my opinion. I've worn them over for the most part. Nov 2, 2014

Joel P: These have been out for a few years. At this time Thor has not released any news about a new, redesigned Force knee guard. The only Thor knee guard that is new for 2012 is the Youth Quadrant. Jan 31, 2012

tkes: You can wear them under your jeans but they would be pretty visible because they are kind of bulky since they offer great protection. They might also rip your jeans pretty easy from inside as you move your knees since they are designed to be worn under riding pants that can not be damaged easily from inside. Apr 23, 2012

A shopper asked: Can these be worn under Klim Baja pants? Jan 15, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: The Thor Motocross Force knee guard can be worn underneath the Klim Baja pants as long as the pants are not extremely tight and fitted on the rider.

If the pants are a relaxed fit on the rider there will be no problem fitting the knee guards underneath.
