Excellent replacement part
Extremely affordable replacement part for something that ears out fast, especially if you race on Vortex pegs. They tend to wear out due to the harsh grip of race pegs and it's normal.
Got these replacement parts, just to be on the safe side.
Better to have and not need, then to need and not have.

Not much to review here, really. If your soles are getting warn, buy these. I go through at least one set per season, I buy them two at a time so I always have a spare when needed.
The replaceable soles are the single best feature of the Vortice boots. Without these I would have to ship my boots off somewhere to be re-soled every time the foot peg wears through at the ball of the foot.

Just what I needed
There isn't much to review. It's exactly what it purports to be: if you have Sidi's Vortice or Vortice Air boots, and have worn the sole down from constantly using them, this is the replacement piece you need. It screws on very easily and does its job. If you're unsure which size you need for your boot, unscrew the soles you currently have on and look at the numbers imprinted on the back of each one.
My only issue is that the soles are so thin. Sidi claims this allows the rider to "feel" their pegs and shifters beneath their feet, but I honestly shift no differently wearing a pair of full-on combat boots with very thick (and hard) soles on them. Because these soles are so thin and soft, they wear down very quickly and very easily. For instance, I tend to twist on the ball of my foot when mounting my bike - and with the brand new soles, after doing that just five or six times, there was already a considerable amount of wear. So, be aware of your walking/riding habits if you want these to last. With that being said, my previous pair lasted me a good 6 months, and I commute with my bike 6 out of 7 days a week. Overall, not a bad lifespan.

Soles like new
What can you say? Replacement soles come with new screws and fit perfectly. Couple of minutes and you have a new pair of boots (at least the soles).

Walter B: I saw the reviews and amazing videos on Revzilla and that helped me make my choice. I had already taken a spill without proper gear and now I want only the best.Dec 14, 2013
ROBSON D: Once I receive and place the item in the boots, then I'll have more to say, so at this time the idea is continue to use my good shape boots with new replacement sole at low cost to get ready for the next season.Oct 31, 2013
A shopper asked:Are the sole inserts sole as a Pair or Individually? If individually do I need to choose left or right.
My boots are worn more on the outer edge of the sole, more from walking to my bike than wear from Pegs etc, whill the sole inserts help the longevity of my boots or due to the worn sides will I just quickly wear down the inserts.Apr 20, 2015
Jacob C:Sold as pair. These replacement pads wear quickly as they are very thin rubber. I try not to wear my vortices off the bike at all because they wear down so quickly. Pretty sad considering the price we paid.Apr 21, 2015
