Non-Bootie Designs: Sidi boots do not incorporate inner booties into their design, and for good reason. Booties make the design larger and cumbersome; add to the boot’s thickness, which interferes with shifting, plus the inner booties retain body heat affecting the rider’s performance and comfort.

Gore-Tex: Striving for peak performance? Whether it’s a day on a wet track, a long distance tour through all types of conditions, or simply pursuing your everyday adventures, Sidi GORE-TEX® lined boots will help you get there. Designed to provide comfort and protection, Sidi GORE-TEX® boots keep your feet dry, even when you encounter snow, or rain. Each Sidi GORE-TEX® boot is totally waterproof to keep moisture from penetrating inside, yet incredibly breathable to allow sweat to escape. This high breathability is critical to your comfort because, simply put, sweaty feet are uncomfortable feet. Inside waterproof boots that are not breathable, moisture builds up and has nowhere to go. It then remains trapped against your skin, leaving your feet clammy, uncomfortable, and more prone to develop blisters.

This can be even more of a problem in high aerobic activities because the more active you are, the more your feet sweat — we’re talking up to one full cup of water a day! Sidi’s GORE-TEX® lined boots is specifically designed to provide comfort and protection on a hard ride or for longer rides when the weather is warmer. The patented GORE-TEX® membrane is where it all starts. Nestled between the boot’s outer top grain leather and the inner liner, this membrane keeps water out while letting your perspiration vapor escape. As part of Sidi’s waterproof guarantee, EVERY boot produced is tested for waterproofness and breathability. And, to make sure the whole boot breathes the way it should, all leather and other textile materials used to construct Sidi GORE-TEX® boots are tested for breathability as well. So go on — take that extra step. Take it in total comfort because you’re wearing Sidi GORE-TEX® boots!

Even Better Than What I Expected I was very amazed. I couldn't find any local shops that carried these boots in stock. They told me I would have to order them and if I decided I didn't want them I would have to pay a restock fee. Thanks to Revzillas one free return policy I knew I could just go ahead and order these through Revzilla. The size fit perfect. They feel so nice. Even though they are kind of stiff for the protection you can still hike or run in them. I have orthodic insoles that I get made with my doctor. I insert them in all my boots. It makes it a lot more comfortable. I have tried a lot of different boots. I love the way my Harley boots look but they are so uncomfortable. The SIDI Canyon boots are real nice. They are just as comfortable as my GoreTex Combat Boots. Definitely buy these boots. April 14, 2014
Favorite Boot Not a fan of the boot buying process. Buy, try, return. Buy, try, return... Rinse, repeat. Bull. These boots have thankfully and mercifully put an end to that as I'll never own anything but the Canyon again. From fit to functionality these boots deliver. My foot's a tad wide which often throws a wrench into the fitting works. These are ideal in the heel, footbed and toebox. After two days of riding with a little walking they feel like old friends. The sole is a real plus as they spend a good amount of time away from pavement. Worn with KLIM socks, ventilation is as good as can be with leather/Goretex. They're easily put on and taken off with the very positive single buckle and are solidly waterproof. Being a function-over-form guy these things not only hit a home run with features, but they also look good doing it. April 14, 2014
Good all around boot. I've been riding for 24 years and these are the best riding boots I've had to date. I've used them in both freezing temps and moderately hot temps. This past weekend we rode to West Texas, a total of over 500 miles when it was all said and done, and they held up great. I felt several rocks hit the upper shank of the boot with no pain felt by me whatsoever. I participated in some "games" which were physically demanding and these boots were perfect for the job. Running, climbing in both dirt and on a hardened surface and they were awesome! I've worn them through about 50 miles of a heavy rain storm. With my chaps and these boots my feet stayed completely dry and comfortable! They may seem a little pricey but the product is well worth it. March 31, 2014
Excellent fit and finish I finally gave up on my Red Wings as my primary moto boots. After a lot of back and forth about going either full Adventure/MotoCross vs. a more well rounded boot, I went with the Canyons. Most of my riding occurs on the road, so it made even more sense. Airflow could be an issue, but the same as my Red Wings with Gore Tex, that should help allow moisture out, but only on the super hot days will be an issue. The boots arrived and my initial concerns about break-in quickly went away. They fit well, and were quite walkable. Generally, I don't care for buckles, but the buckles don't bother me on this boot. They look great with jeans and don't scream moto boot. I would highly recommend these boots. March 10, 2014
Overall a very comfortable boot I like the fit and style. At first I wasn't thrilled about the ski boot ratcheting buckle but after breaking the boot in it is very useful for tightening and adjusting the fit of the boot. March 3, 2014
Great boots I spent a lot of time researching which boots I wanted for my first good motorcycle boots. These Sidi Canyon boots have been great so far. They are very comfortable right out of the box. They are comfortable and supportive on the bike. I did have to get some thicker insoles because of my low volume feet, but this was expected. They do cost a lot, but I couldn't really find anything cheaper that I thought would work as well for me. Overall, I have been very happy with this purchase. February 13, 2014
Nice boots I like that these look and function for both my touring and GS style bike. They were comfortable from first trying them on. They fit my wide foot and offer good traction on all surfaces. I like the ratcheting buckle design and over all good build quality. February 11, 2014
You can't go wrong with Sidi I use this boot for touring. Great for the ride and easy to walk in at your destination. While it doesn't have track boot protection it still gets the job done and stays comfortable for the whole trip. February 10, 2014

A shopper asked: Can they be resoled down the line?

AlecMyrddyn: Sidi may say "no", but many Canyon owners on ADVRider have had success bringing their boots to an experienced cobbler and having Vibram replacement soles installed. Apr 12, 2013

Fletch9871: I have the Sidi Onroad which has an identical sole. I had mine resoled for $55.00 by a local shoe shop. They basically grind off most of the existing sole and bond a new Vibrame sole to the boot. 15,000 miles on the new soles and they're still good to go. I'm guessing the Vibram sole will conservatively last twice as long as the originals. Aug 29, 2011

Tango: Yes they can. If you can't find a local cobbler with the right sole, contact "Motonation" direct. They are the importers for the Sidi line. Nov 29, 2011

nopkle: Although Sidi may not offer resoling, a good cobbler can resole the Canyons with a quality vibram sole - cost ~$50. Aug 22, 2011

Gavin D asked: How does this boot compare, fit-wise to the Alpinestars Scout WP boot? I was able to try on a size 10 in the Alpinestars boot and it fit OK; maybe a bit loose in the heel.

Thanks very much!

Gary H: To me the Sidis run a little small. I should have went up another size. I wear 10 1/2 US and bought a 44 (as recommended by Revzilla) and should have bought a 45. I have to wear thin socks with mine. the toe box is a little snug. Don't let this dissuade you from purchasing the boots. I really like the boots. If I had the extra cash I would purchase 45's and keep both pair. Feb 18, 2014

Robert M: Hi Gavin, the Alpine Stars were a bit narrow for me. The Sidi's give a little more room in the toe box yet no heel slipping.
I love my Sidi's. I've been to Alaska & to Nova Scotia both from Colorado. They keep me dry and warm.
Hope this helps
Good luck,

Nick D: Hey,
I have the 9.5/43 boots and they fit great and protection is amazing.
I dropped my k1200s and ended up with rt ankle between curb and under the bike's entire weight. It would of crushed my ankle in any other style I had researched. Do not ride without them.

Ron P: Gavin,
I've had the Sidi Canyon for 2 years now. They fit true to size but I find then a bit narrow. I usually have no problem with boot width so they might be on the skinny side. Hope this helps

A shopper asked: Sidi offers these boots starting at size 37. If you don't carry the smaller sizes do you know where I could order a size 40? Thanks. Jan 25, 2013
