The CWF-1 Race shield provides a flat surface to accomodate racing tearoffs. Newly designed tearoff buttons allow for tearoff tension to be adjusted without tools, making them much easier to install.

Works Great
I finally got sick of riding with my shield partially open and freezing my face off. The Pinlock system works as advertised, now I just have to deal with my glasses fogging up. Time for contacts?

Nice visor...The tear off system doesn't impress me so far..
Revilla did a great job as always service was first rate and the shipping was fast.Overall I like the visor, it fits my X Twelve well without issue.The tear off system Shoei uses I am not yet sold on I am finding it difficult to get the tear offs attached and secured properly.

Full of features.
I bought the CWF-1 instead of the standard CW-1 because this model comes with more features but you don't pay more for it. The Pinlock system is excellent and I would recommend to get a shield with it if you have the option. It's extremely helpful during those cold wet mornings when the shield fogs easily. Regarding the tear-off posts, they'll serve just as aesthetics for me since I hardly use tear-offs even when I'm on track days. On the other side though, it gives the helmet a more racing look. Another detail to consider is that every shield with tear-off posts is going to be flat, instead of having the curved shape from the standard version, which doesn't really change anything. Also, the tear-off posts don't generate more noise (it was one of my concerns when I bought this product, and I'm glad I was wrong).

Great shield!
I got the dark smoke for my RF1100 and I couldn't
be any more satisfied! Snaps in easily within seconds!
Nice wide fit for better vision. Love the tear off posts
and anti fog features it comes with! Great for both
commuting and/or tracking! Overall great product!!

Good product
These things seem to work very well. Easy to install. And, if you get a dark version, you can remove it from the clear visor should you need to ride at night, and its then a little easier to store than would be an entire clear visor. Its pretty soft material, so I am thinking it may scratch easily, but only time will tell on that issue.

Awesome product!
I got the dark version for my track day. This shield is awesome it is not too dark at all, even in low light condition. The best thing is the super fast shipping!

Great shield
Great shield I got the Dark smoke and it is not too dark at all. its just right. I got the one with the tear off posts but did not put any tear offs yet but intend on putting. Looks amazing and fits just right..

The RF-1100, Qwest, and X-12 all use the same exact faceshield and thus this faceshield will work with the Qwest. The CWF-1 shield is unique because it can use racing tear-offs and a Pinlock insert at the same time. If you need the tear offs, look at the Shoei Clear Tear-Offs.
