Smartest purchase I've ever made
After about 15,000 miles, I had to replace my front Metzler 880 wide white wall front tire, but seeing cash was a little tight, I had to get something less expensive. The Shinko 777 wide white wall fit the bill perfectly at about half the price of the Metzler. The ride is actually better than the Metzler, and much quieter. It's too early to tell how long it will last, so I'll have to come back and write another review once I replace the Shinko. I really wasn't expecting much out of this tire, but in all honesty, it's probably the best tire I've had as far as ride, traction and looks. I highly doubt I'll ever buy anything else from now on, as long as the price remains lower than the competition. In the rain this tire is awesome, with no hydro plaining at all. I ride a rear Dark Side tire (Hankook Car tire) on my Vulcan Classic 1500, and its like the rear and front tire were meant for each other. Buying this tire from Revzilla was a very positive experience, as they were efficient, fast, and their shipping was free PLUS their prices are the best. Can't do much better than that. All in all, I'm a very happy camper. Thank you Revzilla and Shinko...I'd be a fool not to go back to both. Buy with confidence....you won't regret it.

I have a. 2006 yamaha roadstar spoke . Can these tires be used with tubes on spoked rims? My sizes are front 130/90/16 &rear is 150/80/16 ! Thanks Brian

I just bought the 777 front and rear tires for my 1999 roadstar. They are spoked and use tubes, and so far so good. I have not had a problem yet and use my bike to get to work everyday.Age: 25-34
