Awesome pants - so far! There is a lot of size/fit "drama" online about these pants. When I saw them on sale, I figured it was worth a shot. I am 5'4", 110lbs. I wear a size 0 in Old Navy jeans. I ordered the Savannah in size Small in Spring color. I would have preferred just black or something not so "flowery", but they are not too girlie. They seem extremely well made. They fit me almost perfect. The rise is not so low that I have to worry about flashing anyone, even on the bike. I do wear a belt with them. The length is perfect. They are still roomy enough, even with the liner, to wear over my jeans, yet I can cinch them down enough at the thigh and waist to wear solo. The hip armor is fine and comfy. The knee armor was comfortable although it could perhaps be a bit higher up? After more rides I'll decide and perhaps modify their location a bit. I do wish they had at least one pocket. I'll have to wait until summer to decide how they flow air, but with the mesh they look a heck of a lot cooler than my jeans and chaps would be. Plus they just look sexy, not like a lot of other options out there. March 27, 2014
Great pants, however, buy up sizes. I am about 5' 6", and weigh about 137 lbs. 27" waist and 39" at the hip. I don't have massive curves, but I do have some. According to the sizing guide and my measurements, I bought a small, at first, and couldn't come close to getting into them. Returned the small. Got the medium. I could get into them, but couldn't bend my legs very well. Returned the medium, and got the large. The large worked beautifully. I ride rain or shine... it's Seattle... if you get a motorcycle here, and don't expect to ride in the rain... get real! Anyway, these pants work pretty darn well all year round. Ridden in 10 degree Fahrenheit weather. That was really cold, but for a 30 minute commute, I was happy. I have made peace with being wet, from the rain here, but the waterproof lining does a great job in keeping my work cloths dry. As for the curves, I do have to wear a belt to keep them up. The waistline seems to come straight up from the hip, instead of tapering inward. There are belt loops, and in using those, I've had no problem. Just my opinion, but these pants are friggen' hot, too. March 22, 2014
Fashion and Function! Having never been on a bike before choosing a pair of pants was a challenge. Husband insisted they be safe and functional. I wanted fashion and style. These met all of our criteria. I was comfortable in them for a 10 hour day out on the bike as a passenger. March 17, 2014
GREAT PRODUCT My boyfriend bought me a jacket for Christmas and I love it so I decided to get myself the pants so when we go on long rides we are both protected. I had read the reviews and saw where they can run a bit small so I got the next size bigger and they are perfect. February 17, 2014
January 27, 2014
looks great Ok, bought this product and received it very promptly... On the small for sizing..Im a size 10 and had to buy the extra large. I found that the thigh area could do with a bit more room as getting on my bike is a bit of a challenge :) Also your rear end cleavage tends to show.. a bit more length in the waist would be welcomed. Overall I love wearing them and its nice to see some feminine gear. Would recommend them. January 20, 2014
Great pair of pants! I looked at these for months, hoping I would get money soon to buy them. But, money never came my way and I got them for Christmas! I am 5'5" and 125 pounds. I usually wear a 7 in juniors jeans and smalls in everything else. I ordered a Large in these pants, hoping I could also stuff jeans into them. My jeans fit great! The large is the perfect size for me. The legs a little long, but that will be great if I wear boots with these. I agree with the person below me that suggested stretchy material in the saddle. It was hard to get my leg over, but that is also combined with my short legs, tall motorcycle, and three layers of clothing. I'm happy with these so far and I hope I never have to find out if they hold up well or not during a crash! I will suggest these pants to any of my friends. December 25, 2013
Not designed by a rider Quite disappointed in these pants. They definitely weren't designed by someone who actually rides a bike! I bought a size larger than I normally wear because of what I read in other reviews, but they still don't fit well. I am a fit, athletic 130# woman at 5'5". The thighs are slightly tight (definitely no need for the cinch straps on the sides of the pants). The waist is terribly large, and the zipper doesn't stay up. Length is good, but the buckles at the bottom don't do much and are more for looks. Because of the cut of these, it is hard to lift your leg to swing it over the bike. Once on the bike I have to adjust the placement of the knee guard in the pant so that my knee will bend comfortably. I only bought them because they have a wind proof liner, which I must say works really well. I've worn them in 33 degree temps with a pair of fleece leggings under and haven't been the slightest bit chilly. I also ride motocross and think that if these pants had been designed more like a motocross over-the-boot pant, the fit and functionality would have been better. Adjustable waist is a MUST in moto pants whether it's for the street or the dirt because of how the body repositions when sitting on the bike vs. standing. Also, the need for flexibility in the crotch area for lifting the leg to get on and off the bike is necessary. As far as looks, they are beautiful and I've gotten compliments about how nice they look. Negative marks for these pants are for the functionality and purpose for riders. Still waiting for someone to get the design for function and beauty right for a pair of women's riding pants. November 17, 2013

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Tera S: It has a nice feminine look, yet is still about safety. Until I have experience in what I need specifically, the price is perfect just for keeping me safe. Mar 15, 2014
Deborah R: Price was good, and I like the fact that it has the cinched down sides so I won't look bulky. A girl wants to look her best even when safety is a concern.. Mar 2, 2014
James S: My wife likes the style. Feb 26, 2014
Jorge V: For my girl friend, she loved the style, but the fit is very very small Jan 16, 2014
Leanne S: Needed summer bike pants and wanted something different (finally something that is feminine) After all the homework I have done on all womens bike gear I found Scorpion products appeal to me a lot. Would love to see more gear for women in the future.
Thanks

A shopper asked: Hi. I am a noob at motorcycles. Always been a cager. So gf and i decided we want to ride too. Im browsing for equipments and would love to get some opinions about gears.
Curretly looking into this (i like style) and the icon compound.
Which one would give the best protection?
Also, im seeing proyectors (like the bionics) and jackets? Do we need to have both? Or are the protectors only for jakets that does not have any kind of protection?
Thanks in advance.

Craig B: My gf loves these. She has a more extreme pair of leathers but finds them too cumbersome. She digs this though my guess is you'll only get one crash out of these. That said, I vote for padding always. Protectors cover those areas that tend to hit first and hard (elbows, knees, hands, hips, skulls) so I vote for them. That said, I'm sort of a safety freak in a non helmet state...but that's only because I am aware that there are only two kinds of motorcyclists: those who have crashed and those that will crash. So, cover it up, especially if it's your girl and you want her to look good in summer cloths. Nothing says long sleeves more than a girl who's crashed at high speeds wearing shorts. My two cents. Enjoy. Hope it was helpful. Apr 3, 2014

Carl C: Not sure about all your questions, just wanted to let you know these pants run SUPER small. My wife ended up with a few sizes bigger than her normal size.

One other tip if you are new, whatever you get make sure you love how it feels and looks and functions. If you do you will always wear it and it will not just sit in the closet.

A shopper asked: Are these pants water resistant? Apr 2, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Mimosa: Several areas are made with mesh for ventilation so I don't believe they're water resistant. However, they come with a thin liner that would keep you dry but I haven't tried them in the rain. However, I think the liner blocks wind better than water. Jun 2, 2013

RevZilla: The Scorpion Women's Savannah Pants are not waterproof or water-resistant. If you're looking for a waterproof pant from Scorpion, check out the Scorpion Womens Hellina Pant & Scorpion Women's Empire Pants. Apr 4, 2013

A shopper asked: Hard to tell from the pics and it being all black. Obviously easy to see in the black/white/gold pair but do the black ones say it anywhere? Oct 13, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Annette O: The black pants have Scorpion written on the lower left outer portion of the leg right under the knee. It is barely noticeable since the stitching of the word Scorpion is also in black. You truly have to look for it to see that it's there but I don't like branding on my clothing so it's perfect that it doesn't show. Apr 15, 2013

Mimosa: I got them in black and there's no "Scorpion" anywhere. I've seen the newer ones at the store and the black ones have the word embroided in white thread down the leg. Jun 2, 2013

A shopper asked: I just received these pants. I bought the large. They are too snug through the thigh with the rain gear. How much more room is there in the upper thigh area in the xlarge. If there isn't any difference these will work just might get a sloppy ride one day and wish I had rain gear. May 6, 2011

AdvRidingChick: Thinking the move to XL is a good one for you. My XLs are very roomy in the thigh although I need to belt the waist, which I would want to anyway. I love these so much I now have two pairs, one in XXL which are pretty big even with raingear and jeans under them but nice to have around. My XL which fit perfect as described above. Went with the XX out of fear that they really ran uber small, I was off a bit. Aug 28, 2012

Pilotrodflying: I purchased the XL and am a size 39 waist. I find them to fit fine, however with the liner it will be a tight fit. They generally run a bit small, Jun 6, 2011

A shopper asked: im super confused for sizing,,, does the chart go by actual waist measurement or low waist? my natural waist is a 28. low waist is a 32 and hip (thigh) 38. which size would you suggest based on the actual fit of the pant? Jun 1, 2013

Mimosa: I'm 5'4", 130lbs and wear size 4 (American Eagle) jeans. I got them in medium and they fit perfectly over yoga shorts; they would be a bit tight if worn over regular denim shorts/jeans. Hope that helps. Jun 2, 2013
