Women should celebrate the Rev'it range and enjoy all the same features as Men get with the bonus of a correct fit. I live in Australia and could not get a all weather jacket I was happy with. So many jacket compromise on quality and instead try to sell a fashion statement. I am not sure how a sexy looking jacket helps when you come off and hit the road. The Siren does the lot; hot weather, the wet and the cold, protects me and looks great. I really loved Revzilla video for sizing and shipping. Awesome. Kylie

One of the biggest issues for me when riding in the Spring and Fall is air traveling down my neck. Scarves get too bulky. Balaclava's steam up my visor. This jacket is fantastic. I can adjust the collar as needed. The jacket arm length is great-I have long arms and the cuff actually comes to my wrist while riding. No cold air coming up my arms. With the liners in there is little air flow-unless you open the zippered vents, but since I get cold easily I really haven't had the need to. I have only had the jacket for 4-5 weeks so I cannot comment more on the jacket in temps less than 45 or without the liners. Plenty of pockets. Adjustment straps are a nice touch. The length is perfect-sitting below the waist so there isnt any low back exposure to the elements.

I am a 5'7" 125 pound woman with a c cup. I chose a 38 in the black and grey option feeling it offers more visibility.
The fit is perfect for me to wear over my work cloths and the customize-able fit options of this jacket are awesome. I am able to still look like a woman while wearing gear that provides top level protection.
The jacket offers adjust-ability in key areas. In the waist to allow you to have a figure, and adjustable areas in key parts of the sleeves to prevent lose fabric that often causes buffeting.
I live in Seattle. An area where the weather can go from sunny 70's to pouring down rain in the lower 50's in a matter of hours. It is important that my gear is able to easily keep up with the whims of mother nature. I can drive into work fully suited up, and in a mater of moments remove inner linings and open vents to be suitably geared for sunny 70 degree temperatures.
I bought the complimentary revit airvolution and kelvin gloves. They both look great with the jacket. The Kelvins are long enough in the wrist to provide the protection you want in rainy cold weather. The airvolutions are shorter and allow for the airflow you need in hot weather.

When I started riding ten years ago, I was shocked at how little there was available gear-wise, specifically designed for women...at least of the non-"Leather-Mama" variety. Thankfully Rev-It has come along addressing this issue. I upgraded to the Siren jacket after wearing a Kilimanjaro jacket for a year, and I couldn't be happier with the fit and comfort. Best women's jacket I've experienced yet.

This jacket satisfied all of the requirements I had for a riding jacket. The adjustments that can be made on it improved the fit even further. I also like the zip in/out layers since that allows me to use the jacket in all sorts of weather. I really like this jacket!

The Siren is my only jacket and I have been riding in it for over a year. I use it on regular trips and longer tours and never had any issues with it. The ventilation is great in the heat while the jacket is warm enough in damper and colder weather. In about 34 degrees I had to wear another fleece underneath but generally, any combination of the rain and thermo layer offers enough weather protection including rain. I tried many jackets before I settled on this one because it had the best fit and looks. Details are well thought-out. I upgraded it with a Forcefield level 1 back protector, the level 2 was a little too bulky for the size 38 jacket. The only improvements could be more reflective striping (the striping used is visible but not as reflective as scotchlite), better protectors (upgradable, though), and a long zipper to connect to pants (only has the short zipper). I also have the Revit Mistral pants which the jacket easily connects to.

I'm 5'5'', 108lb, 34A bust...tall and skinny with a flat chest basically. I have a size 36.
38 would have been a bit better length for me but would look ridiculous, and 34 would fit better in the chest but would have been too short...so 36 was an ok compromise - I can still zip it into my size 36L ventura pants just fine. The arms are a bit tight with all liners in - not much room for layering. However, a fit a long underwear shirt underneath and it was fine. But really it just makes it harder to reach up and tie my hair in a bun or something - reaching forward into a riding position is no problem.
I just wore this jacket all weekend at my motorcycle training course. We had insane winds, tons of rain, temperatures approaching freezing, and even quite a bit of snow on the second day. None of it had much effect on the jacket until the end of the 6-8 hour day. If I had to push my bike around and got warm I opened the collar and vents and they work great to keep things cooler. On the second day I wore long underwear and a tshirt underneath all 3 layers and was the warmest person in my class. Eventually some parts of the jacket did feel a tad damp from having moisture sit on it most of the day but nothing was really wet. Once the water does start to sneak into the outer layers you do start to feel a bit cooler because the wind has an easier time of stealing the heat from your body. But I was not too uncomfortable considering I was standing in 30 degree weather being pelted by strong winds and snow.
I also fell+tumbled off my bike at one point and didn't feel a thing. So glad I had this jacket on. No bruises for me!
The weather is being really stubborn so I can't comment on this jacket in warm temperatures. I bet with liners out and vents open it would be fine.
The silver accent color is similar to the light ventura pants, you can't really tell the difference.

I saw a new Rev'it Siren jacket with Knox protectors instead of ProLife (also described on Rev'it's website). Can you confirm this?

Due to the new design for Knox protectors the Prolife won't fit anymore (and Prolife are the better protectors according to your recommendations). Why the downgrade?

Answer:
The jacket I saw was brand-new and Rev'it lists Knox on their website now, too. I have the old Siren with Pro Life and love it but I don't want to downgrade if I need to replace it. Back protectors other than Knox (Forcefield or SasTec) apparently won't fit anymore, either.

Answer:
I have 2 Rev'It Siren jackets - both were purchased from Revzilla last year ( 1 in Sept. 2010 and 1 in Jan. 2011). They both came with ProLife armor which I was told was the model years upgrade to the earlier models using Knox. Thus I believe the current models are all using ProLife armor in shoulders and elbows. Earlier models, although styled the same incorporated Knox. By the way, it is a great jacket - super comfortable and non-bulky. It comes with just a foam backpad and I upgraded that to SAS-Tec from Revzilla too. You cant go wrong with the Rev'It Siren. I bought a second one a size larger so that I could wear more layers under it in really cold weather.

REV'IT! Jackets are European (slim) cut and generally more narrow in the shoulders than other brands. Please take this into account when choosing the appropriate size. Most riders with any body type other than "slim" would need to order one size larger than they typically might wear in other brands, if you are in between sizes, we recommend erring on the larger side. If you have any questions about REV'IT! sizing please call 877-792-9455 for help.

How To Measure REV'IT! Jacket Size

How To Measure REV'IT! Pants Size

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
