REV'IT! Women's Phoenix Jacket This is based on secondhand information from the person who received it as a gift.... (I LOVE IT!!! various squealy noises, kisses etc!) Actually the jacket suits it purpose fine. Well constructed with a heavy duty cloth. PLENTY of air flow. Just wish the elbow and shoulder protectors were a bit stiffer and harder. April 8, 2013
Great jacket We bought this jacket for our 17-year-old daughter who will be learning to ride this summer. While everything on the jacket looks great, she will need to get in some use before making an informed evaluation. That said, the jacket size purchased was a 40 and she is usually between a small a medium so the fit was accurate, the style is sport fit so it's not too long or baggy and, in her words, it's smokin' hot looking. Excellent value because with teenagers, look is more important than function so we have a good chance of getting it on her every time she rides. May 28, 2012
Awesome jacket for a great price. This is my first motorcycle jacket and I couldn't be happier. Fits great (5'4'' 125 lbs and size 40 fits perfectly) and looks great as well! April 28, 2012
Fantastic product quality and Revzilla service Jacket was everything we expected. We saw multiple jackets by many manufacturers and REV'IT one of the better for mix use of leather and breathability. The sizing chart here is very good, but different jacket types (racing, touring, textiles, leathers) to get the best idea when we started looking. Kudos to Revzilla for the deal, packaging and end-to-end service by the folks here... awesome as usual. March 12, 2012
Rev'it women jaket little narrow at breast March 21, 2011
Good Combination of leather/mesh The back protector was a very thin foam....not much on the side of protection if you ask me. Wish it came with the plastic type armor as opposed to regualr CE armor. Companies like Fieldsheer offer the plastic CE armor which I prefer. (i actually replaced it with an extra thicker CE back protector I had from another jacket)... I bought this for my wife cuz it was stylish, had a good mix of leather in the impact areas, stretch fabric in the right places, and breathable mesh in the front and back to help keep her cool in the summer. Overall, an excellent product made my RevIt. I was impressed with the quality first, styling second, and the design of it lastly. I purchased the white leather version to help keep her from attracting to much heat from the sun during the summer. May 1, 2009

My wife has the RevIt Ignition jacket, but she finds it a little too warm @ temps above 80°. Does this jacket vent better than the Ignition jacket?

Answer:
The REV'IT! Ignition and the REV'IT! Phoenix are very similar when it comes to air flow. They both use Dynax mesh and in the same areas on chest, back and arms. We would say that because the Phoenix has a more sporty fit, it might even feel slightly warmer than the Ignition, as there is not as much room for air to circulate. For warmer weather over 80°, we suggest using a fully vented jacket such as the Ladies Airwave or the Ladies Tornado jacket.

My wife has the CR textile in a 36 that is a nice snug fit. Would the sizing be the same or should she go to the 38 since this a "Race" rather than "City" fit?

Answer:
The CR also fits pretty small, even though it is that "city" style fit. I think you should be fine in the same size. Keep in mind the new jacket will be tight at first in comparison to the broken-in jacket you have.

Answer:
I had the same ordeal. Without specifics on bust, size and height and arm length, for my own experience with likes of Dainese and REV'IT, she prefered the one size up, due to tightness in the shoulders, arm pits and chest. I reason it as a passenger more than rider, there is less crouching and probably what the ergonomics of the jacket was designed for.
