Turbine Jacket

It's good to find a mesh jacket that offers top of the line protection. I bought this to replace my Airforce, and by comparison, the Turbine offers better protection in the impact areas and a much improved cinch system in the sleeves. But you loose the chest pockets and the Hydratex snap-in liner. Two features I wish they'd retained, which is why I was only able to give it four stars.

Another great Jacket from Rev'it

Fantastic customer service. Patrick tried to find a colour/size combo out of stock by Rev'it and kept me informed by phone. Love the jacket ! I have bought all of the major brands over the years and Rev'it is the best. I also have a Cayenne Pro from Revzilla, another fine product.

comfortable summer jacket

tried several jackets,this fit the best i am tall and thin with long arms,arms fit better than other revit jackets in larger size,it is a comfortable,well made summer jacket,just what i was looking for,also dealing with(marcus) at the store could not have been better

Okay, but trying to slip some things by,

Great for ventilation, however, used to Italian clothing manufacturers like Spidi and Rev'it is made in China. As such, build quality is not even close. Not bad but for the same price Spidi offers quality in another league.

Also the back protection provided is a joke, I could put a diaper back there and have more protection.

Turbine

As described on the Revit site. Fits smaller than normal sizing. No waterprrof liner. Soaked through completely during last ride in the rain. Had a Paclight Gortex jacket underneath to keep dry. Jacket dries quickly. Not a four season jacket. Not for inclimate weather without your own accessories.

A quality jacket

The quality and construction of this jacket are top notch. For me, the fit was a little bigger than expected. I ordered a 52 (in accordance with the size chart) and it was a tad too big. Returned it for a 50 which fits well enough. A 48 may fit even better (I am 5'6", 170lbs, very athletic). So far the jacket has been very comfortable in 85-90 degree weather here in South Florida. I just wish my helmet was as well ventilated.

Recently Purchased

Tested the coat in hot and cold temps during the late winter in Florida. 85 degrees F on a humid day was no problem, even for the black coat in the sun. Air flow is very apparent, especially when ambient temp is 65 degrees F or less. Fit is excellent and size advice online worked like a charm. Body armour does not feel like the "tin man" in the Wizard of OZ. Only one gripe: NO RAIN LINER. That is absurd, especially when the pants come with a removable liner. For the price, and considering the manufacturer reputation for quality, the oversite is pathetic and the coat should be complete (e.g. no additional purchases). The Revzilla sales agent said a rain liner will come out in the future...I'll believe it when I have one free of charge!

Nice Jacket!!

Follow their sizing chart and it will fit fine!! The only reason I gave it a 4 star was the fact that it didn't come with a liner like the pants did. That doesn't really make sense! For the price of the pants I get a liner. Almost same price for jacket, no liner?? Go figure. So I ended up buying a wind proof jacket to go under it. My wife really likes the look of the jacket and much more comfortable than my Dainese Leather jacket!!!!
