The comments about this jacket being smallish are entirely accurate. I am on the scrawny size (5'11 and 155 lbs) and I needed the xtra Large. Hand pockets are a little smaller than the firstgear kilimanjaro, but overall it is a comfy and unobtrusive jacket. Have tested in a few rains and it keeps me dry and have worn in subzero temperatures (not on the bike) without feeling unduly cold. Given the temperatures at the moment, I cannot comment on how it breathes in summer.
I purchased this jacket because I wanted something that I could wear to work or the bar after work without looking like a power ranger or mad max. During that purchase I had several other potential options shipped out to me in order to compare sturdiness, waterproofing, fit and appearance. This jacket was the one chosen. I recommend it.

Like everyone says, the Revit gear runs a size small. I got an XL. Looks and fits great. I swapped out the back protector for the SAS-TEC Back Protector. It's warm and awesome.

Perfect Jacket

I was looking for a versatile, safe, fashionable jacket to wear everyday for commuting in the city, and this jacket fit the bill perfectly for me. I really like some of the other Rev'It jackets as well... as far as I can tell it seems like they're the only ones out there making high-quality, but still understated and fashionable jackets. I don't look good in leather, so their various fabric jackets are attractive to me, but they also have some very cool leather jackets. The one thing though, this jacket fits even tighter than I imagined... I'm 6'1" 165lbs with broad shoulders, I called Revzilla and they said the Large would probably work... but it didn't, way too tight around the shoulders and arms... went up to an XL, still too tight around shoulders... finally, the XXL fit perfectly, still snug enough around the shoulders and waist, with longer sleeves to stay put when riding. I also got the Rev'It Zenith gloves, which go perfectly with this jacket, and also had to size up to a XXL on those, so...
Either way, great service as usual from Revzilla! Highly recommend them as well.

One of a Kind Jacket

I searched a lot of sites for motorcycle jackets, and nothing quite had the WOW factor, until I saw this one! there is nothing else like it for style. I have not worn the jacket yet, because it has been in the high 80's, but I am looking forward to cooler weather. I usually wear either a medium or a large jacket, so I ordered the large - and it fits perfectly.

This is my first motorcycle jacket. I wanted a safe, functional, versatile and stylish jacket. I live in the Northwest, so warmth and waterproofness were a must. This jacket fits all the bills. I can fit thick underlayers when it's cold and wet, take out the liner and open the vents when it warms up and wear with a t-shirt. It's been comfortable in all the above applications. I consistantly get compliments from passersby as well as other motorcyclists who appreciate the looks and protections it offers. I've had it almost two years now and I still love it. Lots of pockets and adjustments everywhere. I highly recomend this jacket for anyone looking for the most versatile, functional, all season jacket that doesn't look like a motorcycle jacket.

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
