New in the 2009 collection is the NAVIGATOR all-weather touring jacket. REV'IT has made use of the latest technologies to make this a state-of-the-art jacket for the serious touring rider, without compromising functionality, style, or safety.

The innovative new laminated ventilation zippers on the chest are designed to provide direct ventilation when opened. The WR coating ensures the jacket will get less dirty under all riding circumstances and resist soaking.

If I could only own one jacket, this would be it

I purchased this jacket for a cross country trip I was taking in May. The weather was going to unpredictable so I needed something that could handle it all. The Navigator didn't disappoint! The conditions on the trip ranged from 90's and sunny to literally 26 degrees and snowing! That morning started off as snow and then as I came down out of the mountains in Colorado it turned to rain. It never got above 45 degrees and rained for nearly 200 miles. Later that afternoon when I made it to Utah it was sunny and 80's. I removed all the base layers and opened the vents and was still comfortable when moving.

I will say that I was a bit skeptical about buying this jacket because the shell itself isn't waterproof. I wasn't crazy about having to zip in/out a rain liner. I've changed my mind on that. This jacket vents very very well without the rain liner in. I don't see how they could have made the shell waterproof and kept all that venting.

This has been a great jacket. Very functional and sharp looking too. Get one while they still have them in stock - they're worth the money.

Lots of adjustability on sizing with the straps. Kept me warn and dry on a 3000m climb in the rain over the hill of death in Costa Rica. Just be sure to zip up the inner liner or rain will seep in the front. Takes a few mins to get the rain protector installed so do it before it starts raining. Good pocket space, great quality. I struggled to find a waterproof jacket with nice build quality for 300$ but didnt want to spend 600$. This was a good compromise at 400$. I would buy from RevIt again.

I haven't tested this jacket in the rain, but I've had a chance to ride in cool, foggy weather in the morning then follow it up with a hot-weather ride in the afternoon. It performed superbly. I wore the full jacket in the fog/mist and was almost too warm, even at freeway speeds on a naked bike in 50 degree weather. The layers and insulation made it feel like I might as well have been sitting at my desk.

In the afternoon it got hot (85 degrees and sunny) I took all the liners out and opened up the vents and it was as comfortable as any textile jacket I've worn in hot weather.

A note on the styling: when I got this jacket my friends didn't even know it was a motorcycle jacket, so if you prefer an understated look then this is a good choice.

I went with a 4 star rating because of the price. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for.

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
