All season pants, excellent quality, full featured.
I was looking at the BMW Rallye 2 Pro, these not only fit better, but they have more pockets and additional thermal liner.

These are trim fitting compared to many pants. They have well placed pockets and vents, quality fabrics and high quality zippers. The fabric of the body of the pants is remarkably soft and comfortable. The grippy knee patches are great for riding while standing, and the waterproof cargo pockets are perfectly placed. The two liners integrate well with zippers rather than the traditional snaps. These have two zippers around the waist, one short section for attaching a normal riding jacket, and then an additional wrap around zipper that essentially turns these pants and the Off Track jacket into a suit.

These pants were purchased as an alternative to breaking the bank and spending the money on BMW line pants. The DAKAR are spot on with quality stiching, additional patches at wear points and fit. A 35-36 waist size fits true to the XL 36. In 100 degree heat they are much cooler than the traditional black color pant. Nice quilted lining zips in and a gore tex ling zip between the lining and outer cloth. The only draw back is that wearing the pant alone they are not water proof. The liner must be zipped in, so stopping and removing the pants is a must on the road. A plus is that the garment will always be water proof hense the liner is never subjected to the elements as with garments that are coated outside for water resistence.The protection is at the hip area and knee. The knee area stays put and contours the cap area as well as the upper shin. At spills up to 60mph they should be fine for the rash effect (better than jeans). Over that? Over all they are an excellent product and I would purchase them again.

Definately go one size larger in the waist. I have a 35" waist and XL fit perfect.

You won't be disappointed with how these pants fit or function. An exceptionally well made pant. I typically hover between a 34-36 inch waist depending on the cut. The XL pants are snug but comfortable. These pants are definitely typical Euro sizes... order a size larger or give the guys a call with your exact sizes. These folks know their stuff.
