REV'IT! Air Blend Boots

It is possible to combine waterproofing and ventilation in a jacket or pants nowadays, but not in riding boots. You now have a choice between one of the many styles of waterproof REV’IT! boots or a pair of fully vented AIR BLEND boots. The AIRBLEND boot offers the exact same protection features as the 100% waterproof FIGHTER H2O boots and forms a great pair of short summer boots.

I got these boots as a more casual option to my Rival boots. I love them! Just like the Rivals, this sole is so comfortable. I think these are great for around town, on and off the bike. They flow air and breathe well, making them really comfortable in hot weather. Personally, I can walk around in them all day and don't bother to change shoes at work. Even in the Louisiana winter, they are warm enough for a long ride.
The feel of the footpegs, brake and shifter is excellent. As is the protection, which comes above the ankle. Really nice height to be comfortable but still feel secure and safe.
I already knew about people's frustration with the Velcro/lacing when I bought them, so I was prepared for this. The Velcro does want to close as you lace them, but I just attach it to the side as I'm lacing and it's fine. Overall, it really is a pretty clean and easy to use system to keep the laces secure and out of the way. I like it better than other boots I've seen where laces are visible, etc.
I would never wear any other gear but Rev'it, and these don't disappoint at all. Very happy with them.

The tread is nearly flat. The flap covers the laces, but that makes it difficult to tie the shoe because it keeps flapping up. The shoe is not sleek looking at all, it is thick like moon boots.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I've got a few thousand miles in these boots and I'm fairly happy with them. They're nice and stiff for riding, with a well-reinforced toe box that's great for shifting a sportbike and presumably provides good protection. The breathability is nice, providing decent airflow while riding, and making them very comfortable for extended use, allowing foot sweat to evaporate. The fit is nicely adjustable thanks to the laces, which slide well in their loops. The lace-cover-flap however is really quite annoying, and also the boots dig into my ankles while walking. Still, these are my favorite riding/walking combo boots, and the ones I grab if I'm going to ride somewhere and walk all day in my boots.

I have only worn these a few times but they like pretty fair boot for the price. As other s have said, the velcro tongue cover is an annoyance when putting these shoes on and taking them off. Some way to hook them in an "open" position would have helped. I just twist them around and attache the left side of the tongue to the right side of the shoe to keep them out of the way. These fit me pretty roomy by my typical size, but maybe that will give me a little more airflow. I haven't ridden them in real hot weather yet.

I like the look and the fit. The flap covering the laces is a pain when donning and doffing the boots. I havehonestly thought of cutting it off. The comfort is good and the reltively unpadded footbed is similar to any other moto boots, most similar to my Sidi race boots.

Closing the velcroed flap over the laces is awkward, but laces are elastic and tighten easily and between laces and flap the boot seems like it would never come off in a crash.
Pros Comfortable, Rugged

Boot has performed well this past summer and really couldn't ask for more. The front tongue flap does limit direct airflow, but the breathable material on the sides really kept my feet feeling cool. Construction has been in line with what I've come to expect from the brand (and of course, the price tag to match!) Fit also made sense from the Euro sizing I have experienced from other manufacturers (Sidi, Alpinestars.) All in all, great fit and finish, nice low-cut boot.
Pros Good Construction, Comfortable, Fashionable, Vents Well
Cons Pricey

The boot looks great but here in Australia I take a size 9 which equates to a 43. If Ihave the choice again I'd go to a 9 &1/2 or 44.

I have a pair of Alpinestarts Tech 10 boots. The tag says size 10 EU 44
My Street Sidi boots are the same size 10 EU 44
My Meril street shoes are 9.5 EU 43.5

Not sure what size to order.

Our sizing charts are taken directly from the manufacturer unless specified otherwise. Not all European boots will convert the same, so in this case REV'IT! may be a bit different from Alpinestars.

REV'IT! Jackets are European (slim) cut and generally more narrow in the shoulders than other brands. Please take this into account when choosing the appropriate size. Most riders with any body type other than "slim" would need to order one size larger than they typically might wear in other brands, if you are in between sizes, we recommend erring on the larger side. SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
