Pirelli Sport Demon Sport Touring Rear Tires
Decent tire, decent tread life.
I bought the sport demon to replace the stock tires on my 2011 CBR250R, and I've been continually impressed by them. I ride in the (almost) snow, rain, wind, and various bad weather and never had an issue. The only time I've been able to break grip is with a hard rear brake slide. Tread life is ok on a 250 cc bike, I'll get about ~6000 miles out of the rear before I hit the wear indicators. Overall good tire for what you pay, but I've noticed that the prices are beginning to rise.

Amazing tire, however short lived
This tire performed well in every area except for longevity. I was hoping for 7k but after about 4k the tire started to square off. With that being said it was aggressively ridden on both street and track on a 1000cc bike. Under heavy braking and at 40 degree lean this tire never made me nervous. Luckily it's just around the $100 price range so I don't mind replacing it annually. But, it would be awesome if Pirelli got 40% more life out of this tire.
This is a tire that's never going to fail you. It's confidence inspiring and gives great feedback not to mention they come up to temperature incredibly quickly and balance very well.

Awesome traction and great life
They always say that tired are the most important part of keeping control of your motorcycle. These tires rock!

Excellent front tire
These tires are fantastic! The tread life is a little less than ideal, but it's worth it to have a sticky front tire. I really like the performance in the wet.
I put them on my 98 concours and then drove to mexico from minnesota. I spent a six hour day of riding in the rain.. these things are great!

it seems like a very good tire for a rainy day. But that zig-zag groove vibrates my bike when I'm going less than 35 mph. Makes it tough to rate, it's a good tire other than the vibration. It has its place, just not on a bike that's going to spend a lot of time going 30 mph on dry pavement.

Great replacement tires for a Thruxton
The tires performed great through Deals Gap and the Blue Ridge Mountains, even in the wet.

Great has good grip even on wet roads. I've had this front tire and back tire for a while and they both work wonders.

The brightest candle burns the fastest
I commute with my bike and I am not a fair weather rider. I really want a tire that handles, has good grip in the wet, and can last a long time. I have been trying different brands each time, evaluating them so it isn’t a guessing game the next time I need to replace one. I thought my search was over with the Pirelli Sport Demon. This was my first Pirelli on this bike. I have to say it was the best tire I have used in the wet, without a doubt, great in the dry and always handled fantastic! But after having it on for about 2 months, it was bare. Granted, if you are a rider who puts on 8,000 or less a year and don’t mind replacing your tires in or around that type of mileage, I would say to give this tire a shot. I don’t know exactly how many miles specifically I did get out of it, but it was in between 6500 to 7000 miles. If it would have been 10,000, I would be buying another no question about it. Just for reference, the tire I replaced it with I have and should get about 15,000 or so out of it and is 70% as good in the rain, not perfect but better than spending 2x the money and double the work changing it yourself.
When Pirelli makes this tire with double the mileage, I will be done.
