Work but not the best option
These work, but because of how thick they are makes the bead even harder to get on. They do protect the rim well.

Does the job well
I got these so that I could start changing my own tires. They work as advertised and were perfect for changing the tires on my '07 V Strom. The only complaint is that they snapped onto my rims very tightly which didn't let me move them to other parts of the rim when I needed to move my tire irons to another section of the tire. Other than that they are just plastic and rope and could be a couple of bucks cheaper. I'm glad I had them and I know they will be useful in the future.

Product works great
Purchased these after using another brand of rim protectors which wore through. These are much more durable and work great at protecting my chrome wheels. I recommend these highly when changing tires.
