just what you need to protect your rims
my rims were well protected using these and remain unscarred.

they do the trick
The rim protectors work well but I found them to be a little thick so it was a bit harder to get the bead over them. I ended up not using them. If my wheels were aluminum I'd use them for sure. They are tough as advertised.

These are easy to use and they protect your rims from unsightly scratches.

Do not work on r1200gsa rims
Have not had a chance to try these yet. I purchased them to use on my r1200gsa rims but they will not fit. Saving them till I work on my son's g650gs tires.

Life saver...I mean Rim Saver
Without these, I would have destroyed my rims while doing my last (and first) tire change. Maybe someone who's done a lot of tire changes could get the job done and not destroy their rim without these, but I was glad I had them.
I wonder how long they will last as the tab that holds the string to the rim protector feels a little flimsy, but if they last a couple more times, then I won't feel bad buying new ones if they do break in the future.

Bought 2 sets
Kept my painted rims painted. Tougher than the slit garden hose that I'd been using. Can get by with one set, but the second set put me over the reward threshold. Plus it is added protection.

guaranteed protection for your rims!
These rim protectors are far superior to my older ones. they are made from a thicker material, and they fit more snugly. They fasten onto the rims with a satisfactory click. The cords make it easy to drag the protectors along the rim to a new pry spot without having to take them off. I recommend buying two sets. With 4 protectors, you can cover about 2/3 of your rim in one shot, and you may not have to move any of them while you're working the bead off the wheel.
