Motion Pro Jumbo Chain Tool Kit - Replacement Pin
Great tool, if you use it properly
Being a mechanic (trucks, cars, machines) I know quality tools. This is a quality tool, however, with quality comes price.
As the saying goes
“The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.”-Ben Franklin.
Just remember that every tool has it's limitations...
The press pin is a weak point. The manufacturer states that you CAN press out staked pins without grinding, but you SHOULDN'T.
I pressed out one staked pin in my old chain, and another to shorten the new chain. After doing so, the removal/press pin was slightly mushroomed. It would not slide through the retainer cap to allow the use of the press plate (master link side plate). After a little reshaping with a drill and file(makeshift lathe), it was back within spec.
Buy a few extra pins(just in case. they're inexpensive), keep the threads lubed (moly bearing grease works great), never use an impact gun or wrench, and grind or drill those staked pins.

Easy to use, works as advertised
This tool works as advertised. Simple and easy to use. While not required, I still recommend grinding the head off the link pin before removing. Makes the process even easier. Only takes a few minutes using a standard drill with a grinding bit.

The only tool for 500+ chains
Having gone through several tools that last month especially since I use and install the RK chains with solid pins, this is the only too one should buy with the stake kit. the press head for hollow pins is nice and rounded so you don't have to worry about crushing out the pointed tip that other kits come with. very solid construction and works great by hand when putting a chain together on the bike.
only comes with one large press pin for larger chains, so if you do lighter ones the smaller cheap kits should work fine for you.

Well built, but maybe not necessary for the price
The product is very well built and compact, but only time and use will tell if it is worth the extra price over the standard chain tools offered by Motion Pro and other brands. It worked very well on my first chain install (there was no need to grind the rivet head before extraction, although I could have done so). I was disappointed that the tool did not come standard with a stake kit for riveting solid pins on the master link (I had to order that separately from Motion Pro).
