Great
Did as recommended, ground heads of rivets off first. Did a great job on DID 525 swedge type master. Good value.

Broke using it on a 520 chain
I recently purchased a chain tool, and while using it as per the manufacturer specifications, I had two parts break on it. I used a dremmel to grind down the rivets before using the tool, and only used what was provided, no wrenches or other tools. The smallest of the pin removers snapped while doing this. In addition, when depressing the rivet heads at the end of the installation, The anvil portion of the tool exploded.

Works Good
Only thing is when using the breaker, you have to make sure you have it adjusted just right to get the pin all the way though. It may take a couple try's.

Motion Pro Chain Riveting Tool
It worked like it was supposed to. Beats paying a dealership $90 bucks every time you need a new chain. The push pins break easily. The .38 broke after 2 uses which was disappointing. The only push pin to survive was the smallest! Overall, it's worth the money. I'd mush rather pay $10 to replace the push pins thatn $90 for a dealership to do it next time. Lining up the rivet heads with the holed push plate took some creative thinking and a little help from a friend. Could be made easier. Good buy.

Works as advertised
I used this to replace a 630 chain and had no major problems at all. I read reviews that said this did not come with instructions, but the one I got DID have instructions in them. If you READ the instructions first, and FOLLOW them, you should have no problem with any broken pins or riveters. The hardest part was lining up the holes on the side plate with the new master link that needs to be pushed in. If you don't have a caliper, I'd recommend it as it's what you need to ensure you have mushroomed the rivet the appropriate amount.

Works as advertised
I used this on a 630 chain to break the old one and rivet the new one. It's the first time I've replaced a chain on my own, and it went pretty smoothly. I saw reviews that said this didn't come with instructions, but my set DID have instructions, and they were very thorough. READ them first and you shouldn't have any problems with broken pins. It is a little difficult lining up the new side plate and getting it pushed on the proper amount, but be patient and you can get it right.
