Overall as advertised
Adequate for the job. I got the assorted set as I was nervous on changing a larger rear tire than I had previously (F800GS.) The largest iron definitely gives one the potential to use waaaay too much torque as you are manhandling your rim. I ended up pinching a tube, thus getting to use the irons more than anticipated. I now refrain from using the large iron and do not carry it when on a long trip.

The kit to get!
This is an amazing kit. 3 irons help ease the removal or install of a tire. The black curved one does the muscle work!!

They do what you want them to do.
Simple product that simply works. The packaging is good and these tools seem to be about the right size spread to give you a reasonably good chance of changing a tube or tire without pinching a tube or smacking your knuckles.

As straight forward as it gets.
Besides the fact that the finish on the black lever came off, the irons work perfectly. I managed to pull crusty old cruiser tires off without bloody knuckles. Motion pro makes a good set, and I say buy them.

The long bar is the best component of the set
Some dirt tires are a bear to install. You need a lot of leverage and the longest bar (16 inch) in the set really helps. The short bar isn't very useful. I'd like to see 2-11" bars instead. Be careful if you have aluminum rims, as the bars can easily nick, scratch and gouge if you're not careful....even if you are careful.

Because of the different sized irons. It will be easier to use the two shorter irons to get under the bead, while the larger iron will produce the necessary leverage to break the bead with less effort.

Would you be able to use this set to break the bead as well?

BEST ANSWER: It can be done, you will need a hammer or 2x4.
