Excellent sport touring tires
I have the Michelin tires on both front and back of my bike. Very nice profile so rolls into corners very linearly. Very good grip for spirited riding in all weather conditions (except snow of course :-) ) Wears very well compared to my Dunlop. I continue to use these as I change my tires. I get about 2+ rears changes to 1 front. Rear lasts about 6 to 8 thousand miles.before inner casing shows.

Good tire at a good price
Got about 10K out of my first Pilot Road 2, would have went a few more but I picked up a screw and swapped it out. I bought this one to replace it as it seems like a good tire for the price.

These tires feel a lot more connected to the road compared to my previous tires.
Previous owner had a Dunlop front tire and Shinko rear tire. All last season I never felt confident in corners. I've put about 100 miles on these Pilot Road 2's and 20 of those miles in the rain and it's given me a lot of confidence now when I lean into corner wet or dry. The bike just sticks and feels planted underneath me. I'll have to wait and see what kind of mileage I get out of them, but so far they're a huge improvement.

Confident with these tires
This is my first set of new tires. I switched out my stock sv650 tires. Anything were better than those stock tires.
I haven't had the opportunity to try them in the rain yet. They have plenty of grip though.

Great tire for commuting
Great tire! This is my second set of PR2. This tire gets great traction on dry or wet roads.

The "B" in the tire specification (180/55ZR-17B) signifies that particular tire has a reinforced sidewall and is intended to heavier touring bikes such as Yamaha FJR1300's, BMW K1600GT's, Kawasaki Concourse's. etc...7 months ago

So I could be off, but I believe the "b" classification refers to a higher load limit (stiffer side wall) that makes the tire suitable for use on heavier touring bikes.Age: 18-24
