You don't have to be world champion to get your hands on Michelin® racing tire technology. Pilot® Power tires use a rubber mix that was originally developed for MotoGP racing, and a tread pattern that covers less than 12% of the tire's surface. The result is a maximum lean angle of 50.6 degrees on dry pavement and 41.9 degrees in the wet, achieved with a stock sportbike.
MotoGPderived rubber compound requires minimal warmup time
The softest rubber mix in its class for remarkable grip, yet maintains tire performance even at advanced stages of wear
Unprecedented lean angles: 50.6 degrees in the dry, 41.9 degrees in the wet
Rubber mix remains soft even at lower temperatures providing excellent grip from the start of your ride
Grooved area that's less than 12% of the tread pattern for phenomenal cornering adhesion
"These are the best street tires I've ever ridden in my life." Steve Atlas, Roadracing World
excellent price and great performance
I've owned these tires for a few thousand miles now and all I need to say is they are perfect for the way I ride. I'm new to riding, about 6 months now, and I don't really lean too far into turns but for as far as I've gotten it down, the grip did exactly what it was supposed to. I do ride in the rain quite a bit and I've never had any issues. Definitely a great tire for beginner to intermediate riders in my opinion.

only tire a sport bike rider should buy
Very short break in time. Less than a week and I was sticking to the road. The heat up time is much shorter than other tires as well. Love the way this tire grips in the corners and handles awesome in the rain as well. If your not a big track rider then buy this tire.

Great first replacement tire
Had a set on when I purchased the bike. Decided to buy a new set to replace them. Tires were great for a beginner rider like myself. Gives me full confidence when riding now.

Cristian Z: I chose this tire because they are the best bang for your buck. They are a very sticky tire and are very confidence inspiring. I am actually just replacing the old Pilot Power i got on my Gixxer Telefonica ed. with another Pilot Power. Great Tires!!!Jul 30, 2014
