Michelin Pilot Power 2CT Front Tires
It's a solid move
Does everything right, not much it does bad. I have had these on my R1 since I've purchased it. I've always had Dunlop Q2's on my previous bike and when it came time to swap tires out I found myself going back to the pilot. They felt every bit as confidence inspiring as the Q2's and I loved the look of that 190 profile rear

Good street/canyon riding tire.
I got about 2-3 years out of them roughly 6-7000 miles out of them. I rode these tires fairly hard. They handled excellent in dry conditions and did well in wet/rain conditions. Would definitely buy them again.

Love this tire
Wet traction, outstanding!! Grip is superb for aggressive road riding!! As long as they make this tire it will be on my bike.

Great overall tire.
It's been a super great tire. As soon as I put these on my bike I could tell there was just something different about them. Haven't had them long enough to comment on the tread life and haven't had them in the rain to be able to comment on wet traction. Have had riding buddy's that have nothing but good things to say about this tire.

Transformed my Buell XB9R
Always figured my Buell was an "average" handling sport bike because of its quazi-harley heritage. After getting tired of tweaking the suspension settings and not seeing much improvement to the bike's handling, I purchased a set of Mich 2CT's. Night and Day transformation! Wow...it was like being on a brand new bike. The bike feels planted and the feedback through the tires is stellar. The rock solid grip just begs to lean the bike hard in the corners. The more severe the lean angle the greater the grip. 500 miles on them now - Best few hundred bucks I've ever spent on my cycling enjoyment!

Not a great street tire
I had these tires on my '09 ZX6R for ~450 miles, so I can't say much about the longevity of the tire. What I can do is compare it to the Battlax Bt-016's that were on the bike prior to these. Overall maximum grip in the dry when warm was very good. However, this is about all I can say in the positive. The tires had ZERO feel to them, were hopeless when cold (under 55 degrees Fahrenheit). In the damp/wet, they were treacherous if it was cooler than 70 out. Combine this with the utter lack of feel, and I have to say I hated these. I'd compare them to the race tires I've run on race cars back in the early '00's (prior to the Toyo RA-1)- great grip, but utterly knife-edged at the limit, which was terribly low on these in certain conditions.
I totaled my bike on these tires on a slightly damp, unlit corner on my morning commute. I hit a bit of oil, and had no indication of loss of grip until I felt the bike going sideways- no tire communication whatsoever. I obviously do not blame the bike for the oil, or for the down, but I am certain that with a more communicative tire, I might have had a few extra milliseconds to react, and those might have made a difference.
Overall, I'd never recommend these to a street rider. I never got to track the bike with these, but I don't think I would have been very confident with them. There are FAR better options for the money!
