Great Tire
I replaced the original Torrence on my BMW f650 GS Twin due to a puncture at 8900 mi. Tire ware showed a good 2000 mi. of tread left. Good traction and handling in a range of conditions, both dirt and pavement.

Metzler Tourance
Changing out to another set of Metzler Tourance. Got 14,500 miles this time on my Suzuki DL650 V-Strom. Front tire still looks good, with no cupping, rear still has tread with no wear bars showing, but quite flattened out. Still very useable, just want fresh set of tires for this year's riding season. Tourance is a great 80/20 tire.

Great tire
First new tire on a 2012 R1200GSA. Handling is about as good as the Tourance EXP that came with the bike. Mild off road on dirt/gravel has been also very similar to the exp, though maybe a bit better traction. Got about 6K miles on the EXP, will see how this does.

Metezler Tourance
I've been running the Metezler on my 1150GS for years. I definitely get more mileage from these than I did from the Anakee. Revzilla had the best price, free shipping and the tire arrived within a few days! Love this company.

Superb tyre for your tourer/adv bike
Just fitted my second set of Tourances to my Varadero XL1000 after getting over 12K miles from the first set. I still had enough meat left on the tread that I probably could have got another 1K out of them, but with the weather being so poor right now I'd rather have some nice, fresh rubber for the winter months.
Great tyres, can't see myself fitting anything else to my Vara in the future.

Excellent tire for a big GSA
Consistantly get over 12K out of the rear tire riding two up. Revzilla's pricing and fast shipping makes it all the better.

As good as it gets for a dual sport tire.
Could use a little more wet grip and off road traction, but very predictable and manageable on tarmac and light off road.
Very good thread life and in 45k km never had a puncture.

Do I recommend this product?
As a STREET tire the Metzler Tourance seems pretty good..I'm no speed demon or corner junky but for STREET riding I see it is an adequate tire.....in the dirt and muck is a whole nother story. I built a camp in the woods some years ago...nothing fancy and neither is the road in (I built it myself)....a road that I have traveled on a KLR many times with few problems. I just bought a Super Tenere equipped with the Metzler Tourance and it would NOT handle the camp road at all. Out of camp ( which is mostly uphill) my wife and I had to walk/push the bike out to the gravel part. I don't blame the bike, I blame the tires....they are 5% dirt at best. So if street riding is all you do then I would recommend the Tourance....but not for the dirt in the least.
