Maxima Clean Up Chain Cleaner
VERY STRONG, Use Sparingly
I like this chain cleaner because it will clean pretty much anything off the chain and get it looking brand new. The downside is that it's very very strong and if you use it to clean the chain often and scrub it clean (even lightly) the orings will fail. It's very harsh. Just spray it on and let it sit for a while, at the most spin the wheel and use an old rag to get the gunk off. If you brush with this stuff you will ruin your orings.

Cuts through everything.
With a recently purchased used bike that looked as though it had never had its chain or chainring cleaned, I needed to be able to get every bit of grime off of them, if only to see if they needed replacement. This spray worked perfectly, particularly when combined with some high pressure water after application. I did a couple sequences of spray and water wash and got everything completely clean. I've tried other products and this one works better.

Degreased my chain so Quickly!
I always wax my chain, but never clean it. The Maxima Cleaner took off the wax & dirt buildup perfectly. I had no idea my 5yr old chain could be silver again. I sprayed both sides, even the middle of the chain, as I scrubbed with a chain brush. I was clean in about 20 mins. It really looked new. Also, I had my bike on stands, so when I went to warm up the chain for the next step (wax), I noticed I could freewheel alot longer than before. Not a bad deal, I'll being doing this more often.

I also used the cleaner on a few rusty bolts and it cleaned them right up. Great cleaner. Careful not to get it on the paint, it will take it off as well.

Did a fine job
Since my bike came new from the BMW dealer 3 yrs ago with a waxed chain, I just stuck with it. However, seems most cleaning products are for petroleum based products. My issue was how to remove the existing dirty wax without effecting the o-rings. Some say kerosene will remove wax but I was reluctant to try it. This product worked fine for me. Spray, wait, rinse and wipe dry. The chain was new again. Then re-apply wax and it was like from the dealership again.

Works just as described!
I live off a dirt road and ride my bike down it almost daily weather permitting. I do clean my chain rather regularly so take that into mind but this stuff works great. Spray it on and let it soak for a minute then I take the brush to my chain and sprocket and then I hit it one more time with the cleaner. Rinse it all out with a hose and watch the magic happen. Of course Revzilla was top notch with service and getting me the product fast!
