Kryptonite New York Fahgettaboudit Chain Disc Lock
Could be longer
If you are looking for some peace of mind this chain will add a layer of protection that will help. I say a layer because each security measure you add helps to keep your bike where you left it. However, even at its longest lenght the chain is still short depending on what you plan to lock your bike down to. I have noticed some other people around town just attach the chain to a wheel and nothing else. Probably not the best idea as most thieves are looking for parts and not just to joy ride on your bike. You have a better chance of detering both joy riders and those looking to lift your bike into a van by finding something good to achor the chain down to if you are not going to purchase the anchor. Outside of the lenght issue the chain is very strong and will make your bike a harder target ESPECIALLY if used correctly.

Feel a lot more safe
Ever since i got this chain for my motorcycle, i can have peace in mind about leaving my bike behind because this is a big chain and it seems that anyone trying to steal my bike would have to use a blowtorch to break this. Great product overall!

Provides ease of mind.
Very heavy duty. I am not worried about anyone cutting through this chain! Glad that I purchased this chain.
The only con I have is that I wish it was a bit longer. I can make it work at 5', but an extra foot would make things a bit easier.

Great item, heavy duty.
Although a bit shorter than I thought, it is a great item and looks super heavy duty. I am able to lock my jacket, helmet, and back tire to the frame with ease.

Great for theft protection
This chain is everything it says it is. Extremely heavy duty and high quality. The lock is the same and easy to operate. I don't think you could cut through this in any reasonable amount of time without a blowtorch.
The only downside is that it is huge and heavy. This is what you want in a security chain but is can be a bit of a hassle to get it through the swing arm and wheel. Still better than getting your bike stolen though.
I had a bike stolen this year, now I don't worry about it.

This is one serious chain...
Got the 5' chain to loop through my tire in the garage. It's definitely heavy, so don't expect to take this anywhere with you. It's also not really long enough to loop through many parts of the bike.
The plus of having a chain is you can wrap it around a pole or to an anchor in the ground if you have that option. It's also quite daunting, which is half the point - keeping thieves away to begin with.
My only question after-the-fact is would a big U-lock have been as effective.

This is heavy duty
I have a $20k bike, spending a little more than $100 to help protect it is well worth the money.

High quality but a bit short
This is a very good chain and the lock is smooth and easy to lock and unlock. The cloth cover to protect your paint is however about 1 link shorter than I think it should be, leaving more metail than I'd like exposed. I also wish it came about 1ft longer to give me more flexibility to wrap it around more parts. I can go through the swingarm but not the wheel as well. Overall though it's a nice thick chain with a quality lock and should be a good deterrent. I actually used two chains as we'll as a xena alarmed disk lock and feel pretty secure with it on my new ninja 650.
