Great traction long lasting affordable tire
I ride mostly hard pack rocky mx tracks and have loved this tire! Great traction, very stable and long lasting. Have not had any issues with tire chunking out from sharp rocks. Very impressed!

Great tire for the money. Haven't rode it long yet but hasn't chunked up and grips well.

Pretty smooth ride on the road but does wear out quick. Awesome hook up off road, hard and soft terrain. Great for the dual sport rider who spends majority of time off road

Very good tire where you need a DOT
I do like this tire and it provides plenty of traction in the dirt. Sand and mud don't seem to be a problem. It's more trail oriented than road which is perfect for me.

I live in FL and the sugar sand here is a tough ride regardless of experience level or equipment. I switched out my enduro tires to these and the difference was night and day. Highly recommend these to the serious off roader that still likes to ride on the road sometimes. The key feature is that they are DOT certified and totally safe for the road.

One of the best deals on a tire for dirt.
I bought this tire in lieu of another Maxxis Desert IT for my 2009 KTM 450 XCF and I have to say this Kenda is not only MUCH cheaper than the now overpriced Maxxis Desert tires, it performs just as well and is DOT legal.
I did my first ride on it yesterday, 145 miles of everything from rocky single track to wide open desert road, silt, asphalt sand and whoops. It handled it all perfectly with excellent traction with me throwing roost and gunning it the entire time. The tire shows minimal wear.
For the price right now I don't think you can find anything that will beat the performance and durability. I'll be interested to see how many actual hours I can get out of it vs the Maxxis Desert rears. But heck already the price is better, so that's a big selling point.
Now I just need to find a tire that matches this one but for intermediate terrain.

Robert L:I have run a gel ax and the kenda on my Ktm 350 exc-f. I ride the sand in Michigan primarily and the kenda works fine. Often I ruin a track aster on the rear and a Pirelli scorpion on the front. Works well in sand and on the road. They are DOT certified which I need to be legal in Michigan. I just bought a set of Kendra's for my 350 and another set for my Ktm 250 XCWMay 3, 2015
