Joe Rocket Dry Tech Liner
Quality waterproof liner, also works as jacket
The jacket is high quality and has worked well as a waterproof layer in the light rain I've tried it in. It is two thin layers of fabric so I would not use it alone in cold climates, it does not have any insulating layer. It has 2 sets of zippers, one zips into the exterior shell and one is to zip up the jacket itself. This means even with the shell installed you'd still have to zip the liner up separately from the exterior shell.

Expand Your Jacket Use
I picked up this liner to use with my Joe Rocket Airborne jacket. Some water proof inserts are merely plastic and while they don't let the outside wet in, they don't let the inside sweat out either. This liner breathes enough to keep you comfortable. It has a heavy zipper and a waterproof cover over it. It then seals with Velcro. It also makes the jacket that is over it ( and this liner can be worn underneath just about any jacket, Joe Rocket or not ) a true fall cool weather piece. I am 6'0" 215lbs and the 2XL fits great. This liner also looks ok by itself. Using this liner will extend the use of your favorite jacket into cool weather.

Excellent for keeping out water and air, zero air flow. Let's me ride a full 20 degrees colder comfortably.
Goes in easy, blocks all wind and all the little bit of rain I've put it up against. Would highly recommend because I can pop it in and stay comfortable for another 20 degrees colder. Very soft and comfortable. When it's cooler than normal I wear a hoodie underneath and stay toasty.

I purchased the liner for a Joe Rocket Sonic 2.0. It's not made for the Sonic (different zipper system) but it still works fairly well. I was interested in finding a liner that would make it more comfortable to ride during cold weather without always needing to plug in the electrics. If it would have been just a little more wind resistant it would have been great. As is, it's necessary to wear a good base layer along with a warm shirt but then you're pretty toasty (not sure about long highway trips - only been out for a couple of hours so far in 38-40 degree weather).
- Wind Resistant (almost windproof but not quite)
- Not quite windproof (a little thicker barrier or a different material would have been better)
- More insulation material
It only gets 3 stars since it's not quite windproof and it needs more insulation. If it would have had those 2 items I would have rated it 5 stars.

Keeps you warm
This liner zips easily into the Joe Rocket Jacket it was designed for. Keeps you nice and warm. Zips out quickly when it gets warmer. Wish I found it earlier in the Winter season.

Decent cheap liner.
I wear under perforated leather.
It's pretty warm considering how thin it is. Does a great job of blocking the wind also. Worn down to 45 degrees.
Liner is not made for my jacket, but still works.

Better, but worse.
Much warmer than the original jacket liner but material "velcros" itself to long sleeves, unlike the slick material of the original. Once on it is comfortable, but getting there...

I bought this liner to convert my textile jacket to a fall/winter riding jacket. It does a GREAT job! Fit is good and on cool mornings it keeps you warm.
Very happy with this product.
