Icon got it right! Not only does the cut of this jacket allow for better protection because it's designed the fit the curves and proportions of a woman's body, but it allows you to still LOOK like a woman. Gone are the days of the boxy fit with oodles of excess material in all the wrong spots. This hugs the body while still giving you full range of motion.
The zip out liner allows this jacket to easily transition from wind chills in the single digits to almost 90 degrees with minimal effort.
This is the ONLY jacket I've found that fits. The others, both leather and textile from at least a dozen other companies, were HUGE on me, including the extra smalls. The sleeves were always too long and the shoulder seams were always a good three inches down from my shoulder. The first time I tried on the Icon Hella, I knew I'd found The One. The shoulders fit, the sleeves fit, and with the side adjustments, the waist fit. Even the pads hit where they were supposed to, unlike those other companies.
A nice perk of the Hella is the pockets. Two outside and two inside pockets are big enough to carry my phone, wallet and keys with plenty of room for non-essentials...all without affecting the fit of the jacket.
I honestly could not have found a better jacket. It does everything I hoped for and more. I have become a loyal Icon customer because of it.
