Nice gloves good value Alo a well made product, great for three seasons. Stylish and easy to get off and on. April 21, 2014
Poor Quality So these gloves certainly look good enough but as others have stated the velcro is absolute garbage. The velcro started to unravel after the first day of me wearing these. When I got home i cut off all loose strings and now I keep them Velcro-d close and slip them on and off without opening them. This sort of works but I'm still seeing them fall apart. Airflow is good, the fit is nice, not very useful in colder temperatures. All in all I would not purchase these again, they're not built to last. Spend a little more and get a good gauntlet glove April 17, 2014
Worst gloves I've owned The inner seams on my right glove are annoying and painful around my fingers and knuckles. I was hoping this might go away after breaking them in but that didn't help. They do look good although they look a lot more purple than the blue ones shown in the picture. Air flow is great although the knuckle protectors are positioned funny and don't really sit over my knuckles. These gloves would be great if I could actually wear them comfortably. They're so bad that I'm buying another pair right now. April 15, 2014
Nice Pair of Stylish Gloves Great glove for hot to moderate climates and would look good with any bike from a Harley to a street-bike. The padding is decent and the fit is comfortable and gives you the ability to feel your throttle an clutch lever like some bulkier gloves prevent you from doing. Quick on and off, lots of air flow, and you cant beat the price. April 14, 2014
I liked them but awkward getting them off/on. Like them. Fit is spot on. Like the air flow. However I can't keep Velcro strap open so you can get gloves off. Plastic backing makes it want to pop back making hard to remove gloves. April 7, 2014
very nice glove for the mony fit is right on, the quality is top notch, I like them for cruiser riding but would work for light sport as well. March 31, 2014
Perfect for summer, but limited protection Glove will keep you cool in the summer and you can even ride into the early fall with it if you so wish. Protection is limited (obviously) but its better than riding barehanded. For the price, its a great entry-level glove. March 31, 2014
Perfect for those warm days. These were my first pair of gloves when I got my bike back in August. They fit great and flow tons of air. They're simple but I love the way they look. I have the all black ones. I lost my first pair and proceeded to the closest bike shop and bought them again. For the price, I wasn't too devastated but I needed gloves and I loved my first pair. Mohammed M: Good gloves. I was wearing these when I wiped-out at about 25 mph. These gloves took all the beating and protected my palms and my hand from the road. I had to get another pair of gloves as these ended with huge holes. wearing these gloves is better than not wearing any gloves and this pair is well worth the price. Apr 16, 2014

Jeffrey B: I have the black ones, had them for past three years, they ripped by the Velcro so this year I thought I'd go with the color that matches my ZX 1200R. I love the way they feel.

A shopper asked: Aren't these called the Twenty Niners because they're supposed to cost $29? Even the review video says $29. What's up with the $35 price tag? May 30, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (1) No (0)
FlynnLives89: They used to only cost $29, but Icon raised the price a year or two ago due to an increase in manufacturing costs. My local shops as well as every online store I've seen sells them for $35 now. Jun 1, 2013

A shopper asked: Just wondering if these gloves tend to stretch out? - I'm in between large and XL so this might help me mark the call. Aug 12, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
John M: Actually, any leather product will tend to stretch out over time. It turns out that the Large Twenty-Niners fit me pretty perfectly so they've never had to stretch on my hands. I have three pairs and my oldest pair (3-years) fits like new. I hope this helps. Aug 13, 2013

james c: I 'm on my second pair, and neither pair stretched. I gave the first pair to someone that didn't have gloves on a cold ride and he loved them . We both are still wearing them and they have not stretched. Aug 13, 2013

Michael W: Yes, they stretch. You will need to break them in a bit when you first get them. They don't stretch so much that you need a size smaller. They are a nice pair of gloves...I use them daily. Hope that helps! Aug 13, 2013

Carlos H: Hi! I've been using mine for almost a year and they stretched out very little. I always go for one extra size when buying gloves - you can use them without problems, but you can't use tight gloves. Aug 13, 2013

Jerry C: Hello.

I'd say while the 29ers have broken-in to be very comfortable, they have not really stretched out to be loose or too large.

Hope this helps.

Lance H: They seemed to stay about the same to me. With the amount of protection, I wouldn't expect these gloves to stretch out much. Aug 13, 2013

David M: These gloves are great. Don't expect any stretching due to wear. Very true to size. I wear XL and still fit snug Aug 13, 2013

Clint G: Mine have remained the same size over the years. Recommend you go with the XL. Aug 13, 2013

A S asked: My hands are 3" across, which is exactly 1/4" away from both the small and medium sizes. I have fairly short, somewhat wide fingers. I wouldn't mind squeezing into the smaller ones, but would my fingers be too wide/long? If I got the medium ones, would my fingers not be long enough, resulting in a little bit of glove hanging off the end of my fingers?
Which one should I get?
Nov 26, 2013

Eddie J: I suggest the small size. I also have small hands, measured 3in across with fingers together, and short length fingers. These gloves will stretch just a bit under prolonged use. I like my gloves to fit a little on the snug side for better tactile feel and the Icon 29ers provide that. A great warm weather glove. Nov 26, 2013

Carson K: I find the icon gloves run true to size. Jan 4, 2014
