I bought these after a losing a boot and injuring my foot and ankle in an accident not far from home. I wanted something that protected me on a casual ride to the BBQ, but still could be worn under my jeans once I got there. This boot fits the bill and more. It fit right out of the box and required very little breaking in before it was comfortable for casual wear between legs of a ride. Good protection and still has style to it. The only thing that steals one star for me is the buckle strap can trouble the top of my foot, but I have high arches and bony feet, so take that for what it's worth. I would buy it again

They fit very well and are very nice looking boots! Just what I needed but if I had to complain about anything at all about the boot, it would be that the heel is a little short compared to my last boot which was perfect for my feet to plant flat on the ground when I stop. Other than that, they are awesome boots.

I ordered my normal shoe size and it fits perfectly. I didn't need to break it it, but it still remains stiff. Easy to walk around it, but they squeak. This is a well made boot. I do find that the buckle is a little flimsy on the strap side. I always have to adjust the strap part so the buckle stays tight.
This has become my normal daily commuting boot as it sort of goes with my work clothes, but I easily change out of them when I get to work.

Excellent quality for the price! These boots definitely need to be broken in, so don't judge them right off. After a 5-7 days of wear, they're just as comfortable as my regular everyday Clarks! You can wear them on or off the bike and very few people will notice them... But other riders will and you'll get complimented. They seem fairly high quality and have very nice safety features. If you're looking for something to commute to work in and actually wear while at work... These will do the job quite nicely. Just loosten the nice solid aluminum buckle and maybe loosen the laces, and you're good all day. Well worth the money, even more worth the piece of mind. ;)

The tongue could be attached to the boot to provide some water resistance. If you plan to wear them on wet weather these are definitely not your boots. The gear protection could be slightly bigger too. Overall these are very good boots to wear if you plan to ride to a casual meeting cause they don't look like traditional styled biker boots.

I find Icon wear in general of good quality for the money you pay.
This was the first Icon boots I bought. I found them very comfortable, from first time I put them on. Riding/shifting gear or walking, they feel great.
They are on the softer side leather. The front/tip/toes protection seems good. The ankles feel a little bit flimsy to my liking, but this is relative to proper sport riding boots.

Sizing surprised me. I wear UK size 10.5, and on my Vans sport shoes it says UK size 10.5, US 11. So based on this I've ordered Icon size US 10.5. To my surprise this was lots (at least full size) big for me.
I had to exchange these for Icon US size 9.5, and this was exact my size.
If need to try these somewhere to make sure you get your size.
