I love the vest, it works great. Fits right over my leather jacket comfortably and breathes well. Only thing is I don't like the little pocket on the right breast with all the text printed on it (aesthetic issue only). Other than that, it's a great vest, fits well, breathes, and people see you!

I bought this since I need it for a charity event in which I will be riding moto-escort. I just couldn't bring myself to wear a construction vest or have one of those flapping around. I may wear it from time to time when riding in poor weather or at night. Generally speaking neon yellow is supposed to be better in poor lighting and orange is better in daylight. The ID pocket which I don't need is nice but if you are in the military and you have to take your ID out of the cover its going to be a pain, the holder is a sticky rubberized material that will be a pain to remove the ID from. I see a bunch of reviews where they complain about size but none say what size they are, real helpful right? So here is the deal on sizing, I wear medium jackets (apx 40 euro, 38" chest) this vest in XS-L fits fine but if I was wearing a large jacket I would up it to the larger size. The mesh is a medium weave so not as open as some of the joe rocket stuff or speed and strength but not as tight as some of the scorpion and A* stuff pretty close to olympia's mesh weave. You cannot easily access your jackets pockets through this vest so keep that in mind. Visibility and reflectiveness is pretty good and the reflective panels are in various places so you should remain visible no matter what angle people are approaching from, although they will probably still fail to see us motorcyclists.

This vest does the trick. Has pockets, pouches, and space for badges. Not just great for military but also for civilian government employees needing to ride on a base, installation, or similar property.
Much more stylish than the other options out there. I know the ICON logo is reflective, but I am not a logo guy and could've done with a more subdued advertisement for ICON on the vest.
If you are planning on wearing this over a leather/textile jacket with armor, you may want to consider going up a size. I have a size 54 REV'IT! Ignition jacket and the XS-XL size is almost too small. Fortunately, everything on this jacket seems to stretch and gives me just enough room to zip the vest up.
If you are worried about bugs getting in the mesh - don't be. I've washed the vest twice now - delicate cycle in an High Efficiency Front Load washer - and hung it to dry. Come out bug-free. Dries overnight - just in time for the next morning's commute.

I got this for a few reasons: 1) I'm a new rider, so it says "I'm trying hard not to crash on my own, so please don't pull out in front of me and make my job harder"; and 2) I'm riding/commuting in Los Angeles, home of bad drivers.
Does it look cool? No. No it does not. But I feel safer and more visible when I wear it, especially during the morning commute. That's what matters.

This mesh vest has a great design, night visibility even when using a backpack, excellent ventilation, and the L-XL size is big enough. I guess it may be slightly overpriced if compared with other options, but I own other Icon accessories and I know I am paying for quality items. This vest is no exception!

Vest fits well (snug but stretches), vents beautifully and makes you stand out like a Roman candle. Very well made and incredible value for money. Only downside for me was the huge Icon logo on the back.
