Icon Mil-Spec Mesh Vest
Does what it's made for.
I got this vest because a bunch of my buddies had them while we were in the military. The Army required them to get on base. They last a long time if taken care of. Super visible with out being an actual safety vest like construction jobs.

Bottom line, this vest was designed for safety. It does that job well.
Safety vests are not designed to be fashionable. However, Icon dose a pretty good job of countering that perspective. The reflective tape along the sides shoulders and back are well thought out and accent the vest in the right places for reflective visibility. The front pocket is useful for things that one might need for easy access. The inside pocket is a nice touch and is roomy enough for most cell phones. The large cargo pocket in the back is well thought out and can carry small items, an extra shirt, a beanie, hat, or any other item about that size.. I actually keep a small trauma kit in the pocket.
The zippers appear to be sturdy and I have not had any problems with them. The adjustable elastic cords along each side of the vest keep the vest snug against your body so that it does not flap in the wind.
The only thing about the vest that doesn't work well for the purpose that it was designed, is the ID sleeve that is Velcro'd to the front of the vest. The sleeve itself is difficult to use. It seems too small for most IDs. And, most people who would want to see an IDCwould want to see it outside of the sleeve. The whole sleeve seams not very user friendly.
I would definitely recommend this Vest for those people who are traveling at night.

Great visibility and comfort
1. Fits great
2. Quality Construction
3. Nice zipper2
4. Ample # of pockets
5. Love the ID card holder
Everything is great about this vest, but they need to increase the size of the front left pocket to hold bigger phones like the iPhone 6+.

Just what I wanted
This vest was just what I wanted. the only thing I will be changing are the elastic strings on the sides as they are not long enough. I ordered the largest size but it was still snug until I reworked the strings. I am a large man, not over weight but large frame.

Fits well but doesn't allow air to flow through my jacket as well as I like. The little clear bit for your ID to go into didn't last very long before the cloth tab came off. Other than that, no complaints.

Icon Mil-Spec Mesh Vest: Cool, Durable, Visible
It's a high-viz vest, so it is NEVER going to be "fashionable"/"Stylish." However, this vest is very visible, is quite cool, fits well, and seems durable. I feel more comfortable at night or in heavy traffic while wearing this, so mission accomplished.

Best vest going!
It's getting dark now and I find myself riding at night and early dawn (low light) to work, and sometimes getting caught in the rain. I'm not active duty military although I am a veteran. ID pocket is a good place for my insurance ID. Secondary pocket will fit a pack of smokes and a lighter or credit cards and license for easy access. There's also an inside pocket for my wallet or phone. Then there's a pocket on the back for maybe a red bull or water or whatever. Fit is superb! I'm 5'8" 40" chest and I got the XS-LG. Fits over my jacket no problem. Not too loose or too tight. And I believe the caged drivers see me much better now. It's stylish, excellent fit, has storage, and a secure zipper. I exceeded 120 mph and no problems with the vest at all. Highly recommend even if you're not military.

Like it! I totally recommend it.
I gave four stars to protection and durability just because it's new and I can not claim to be a durable product. Only the usage time will give the answer. Independent of that is durable or not equal, would buy again.
I love how it looks aesthetically over jackets or other clothes. Icon always makes good designs.
Most importantly, it does what it should do. Just out of the package, and in low light it becomes a radiant object. I think that will be enough annoying to look for those who illuminates us with his car. It is therefore fully visible to those who see in the street.
I use it even during the day. In the worst case, no one can say "I have not saw you."
I totally recommend it.
