Great and Stylish Icon Mil Vest Bought this for riding onto base. Had one of those construction looking vest. Had to be buying them every few weeks, because of their cheap quality. Also, got tired of them not fitting right. They kept flapping in the wind as I rode. With the Icon Vest, it fits nice and snug, plus you can tighten it on the sides more if it's not snug enough. The vest is made of very durable material. Looks like it will last for months/years if taken care of right. It has a pocket for your CAC ID...easy access instead of trying to dig your wallet out with your gloves. I weight 220lbs and bought the XL-3XL size, It's a tad big, but over the ABU's it nice and snug, this thing won't be flapping in the wind like my old construction vest...I would definitely recommend this. Came to the conclusion that I had spent more on cheap constructions vest. Should of just bought the Icon Vest from the beginning and would have saved me the headache and some money along the way....Ruckus For Life!!!! May 20, 2013
Decent vest, lots of features The sizing is spot on, the features make this a good value for your money and it does hep to expedite getting on base. Only one suggestion for Icon, make the ID holder easier to access with gloves on as MP's often want to scan your id, which means it has to come out of the pocket. Otherwise it meets all the mil regs on reflective surface. May 20, 2013
Good item! Great Vest handy Pockets. Zippers could be a bit larger for easier acces while wearing gloves though. I have to look in the mirror to see where the pockets are. May 6, 2013
Excellent CAC secure in the upper left and a really nice zip pocket in the upper right chest (not big enough for a smart phone). There is a zip pocket on the inside left side that is big enough for a cellphone (Smartphone IPhone or Galaxy size). Breaths awesome and very durable. I highly recommend it. Cheers! April 15, 2013

this product has great features im bought the small/large. im 5'2 and it fits me perfect. the pocket on the chest is perfect for putting money for tolls, but thats about all you could fit in there. this vest definitely does its purpose and gets you noticed by other drivers. March 18, 2013

Great product, I wish the MILSPEC pocket was removable though This jacket fits great! I am 73" 190lbs and it fits perfect over my protective jacket or without it. I was kinda nervous about getting a large but it fits great. The only change I could was being able to remove the MILSPEC pocket. November 12, 2012

Answer: 
The Icon Mil-Spec Mesh Vest is not ANSI rated. Very few motorcycle specific brands will actually have their products sent for evaluation.
