Jun C: I wanted a warm weather jacket for times when I can't use my Tour Master Transition 3...Apr 9, 2015
Mark S: I live in Houston so it gets really hot here. Icon is a reputable manufacturer and I read the reviews of this jacket. I think it will be a good hot weather jacket.Apr 2, 2015
Aaron F: Great style and breathabliity, but still has protection.Mar 25, 2015
A s: A good mesh jacket for south Florida. I got the "lab coat white" version and have been cool, maybe less-hot would be a better term, since I have been wearing it. Allows me to follow ATGATT when it's hot outside.Mar 2, 2015
Lars H: Awesome reviews and need a light summers jacket.Dec 2, 2014
James M: Great summer jacket, has great flow. Only thing is wear gloves that fit over the sleeves. They don't have a adjustment it is just one position and I had a bee go right in one sleeve. Other then that I really do like this jacket it was great during the summer and the thermal liner was nice when it started to get a little cold. This is a true summer jacket and that is it.Oct 15, 2014
johnny r: I have worn this jacket when it was 36 degrees and 103. The liner is great for cooler days and well when its hot its hot... I would purchase this again and recommend it.Aug 18, 2014
S M: Icon is an innovative producer and want the best jacket that will last for years. Hot here in Yakima.. My Kline keeps me warm and dry in the fall and winter but need a jacket to keep me cool and protected during the summer.Jul 26, 2014
Donald H: Color, a summer mesh, hopefully not as hot and more breathable than my other jackets, protection for shoulder and elbows, nice style and appears to have some flex in the material.Jun 22, 2014
Warik R: Because it fit my needs. Looked good (red).Jun 11, 2014
Thomas K: Looked lighter and less bulky than some of the other jackets for summerMay 31, 2014
angela r: Style, price and had the features I wantedMay 30, 2014
C H: My favorite jacket by far. Is very breathable during the summer and comes with a liner perfect for colder days.May 21, 2014
Chuck M: Low key style and white color for Humid summer beach driving.May 7, 2014
Jeremy D: Lightweight comfort and versatility for hot to slightly cool changes throughout the day. Liner is good for when the sun goes down and it packs easy. Also like the look and visibility in white.Jan 18, 2014
loran b: I'm a big guy and wanted a loose relaxed fit jacket that would flow air, look great and provide protection.Sep 13, 2013
MICHAEL W: Quality mesh jacket for year round California Coastal riding.Aug 30, 2013
Michael J asked:I am 5'7" and i weigh about 130 lbs. should i get the small or medium? Does this jersey go a little large at all?Mar 30, 2015
Timothy E:I am 6'0 and about 215lbs. I went with an extra large because I wanted to wear a hoodie under for the colder months, but It actually fit me perfectly. Awesome jacket. So I'd go with a medium maybe. Remember if the size you select doesn't fit you can just send it back for a different size, revzilla is great with that. Good luck. Mar 30, 2015
K Y:I bought this for my husband. It fits according to whatever size you are. He's usually a XXL but sometimes a XXXL. And he fits in a XXL perfectly. Idk if this helps, but I think it runs true size. Mar 30, 2015
Justin C:Hey man. I am about 5' 10" 170 and i wear a small. It is a bit snug on me but that is what I wanted. I would say this does run a little small as I have another Icon jacket (Anthem) that is a medium and fits perfectly. for the height and weight you described I would recommend a small for sure.Apr 2, 2015
Shawn M:It's hard for me to say. I'm 6'3" 225lbs. I wear a XXL. I like the jacket a lot for hot days. The best thing I can suggest is what I did. Find a store that sells this jacket. Find your size and then order it from RevZilla. That's what I did and I saved $130canadian. Good luck. Mar 31, 2015
Brandon W:Michael, I am 5'9" 155 and I ordered a small. It fits me fine everywhere I only wish it were longer in the waist. It stops right at my jeans so my shirts are always longer than my jacket which is kind of a pet peeve of mine but other than that It fits well. Mar 30, 2015
Damien E:I'm 6' 1" and 160lbs. It's a little big on me. It's fine length wise and in the arms, but it is a little 'wide" in the shoulders. If you get a med, You'll be swimming in this thing unless you have really broad shoulders.Mar 30, 2015
Jeremy D:The pads are in the jacket but you will want to upgrade the back protector. Although my icon is a small, I use my large back pad( upgraded) from my alpinestars. Fits right in the pocket. Versatile hot day, cool down night jacket. Mar 5, 2014
A shopper asked:I'm deciding between the Anthem and Contra. I realize the Contra is a heavier, more full featured jacket, and the Anthem is more geared towards a hot weather solution, but I wonder about the cool weather riding with the Anthem... Whats the coldest temps you've worn your Anthem (with the liner) in, and how did it function?May 11, 2014
Michael K:I live in SW Fl near Naples. I have worn this jacket w/o the liner in temps from 65-95 and it flows a lot of air-while moving. When we get the occasional cold snap down in the 40's to high 50's I put the liner in and it's fine for shorter trips, 45 mins or so, much longer and I think it may not be the best answer for you. I ride a Trophy SE so I have a good bit of protection also. Very pleased with quality of jacket and would purchase Icon products again. Hope this helps.May 11, 2014
Robert H:I'm in south / central florida so very hot summers but very cold winter spells. At bike week this year I used it with liner and neck cover when cold - then took liner out as it warmed up. For real cold I switch to a textile non vented jacket.
Lowest temp I've used? Maybe low 50's but I'm sure it could work lower. You'd need something around your neck tho - has absolutely no collar which is one reason it's so nice in summer
Mark W:When the temp drops below 60, I wear my leather jacket. This is a great 3 season jacket. It does have great air flow which you would expect from a mesh jacket. It is well made and has nice armor in thr shoulders and elbows. I also added a Stryker back armor plate as well. I love it for warm weather riding.May 15, 2014
Fred J. B:This will not be a good jacket for cold wether riding. At night in cooler temperature such as 70 degrees fahrenheit it can almost feel like you have nothing on even with the liner in. Take this for a mesh shell with armor.Jun 27, 2014
A shopper asked:Really interested in the jacket. I have seen criticism of the protective usefulness of the jacket due to its loose cut. Anyone care to weigh in on that witb their own experience/ impressions?May 15, 2014
Matthew A:I noticed those comments as well. As a result I went with a Medium instead of a Large jacket. I'm usually in between those sizes anyway. But with the lose fit, I was sure going down to Medium would work. The fit is great.May 15, 2014
Richard F:Yes - the orange jacket has reflective portions on the chest in the icon area near the collar bone also a strip across the chest and a strip across the sleeves near the elbow. On the back the area where the icon logo is reflective as is the thinner - lighter colored grey strips you see outlining the darker grey areas near the bottom sides of the jacket.Oct 19, 2014
zack f:I have the black one and there isn't any on it. I would assume it's the same for the others. Very good warm weather jacket though. The wind goes right through. And it has a liner for when it cools off. May 12, 2014
MICHAEL W:The Anthem Mesh jacket does not have a belt loop. This is strictly a two piece system when used with the Anthem overpant. I've used this for 3-season riding in Northern California over the past two years.May 21, 2015
