Bought for my passengers. All have said it is very comfortable, has wide viewing area and they like the easy flip up shield and built in shades. I like its style and many features. For the cost, it's a no-brainer!! (I left all sliders in the middle because it's too small for me and can't judge for myself.)

I am still breaking this helmet in and it is becoming more comfortable with each ride I take. My previous helmet was a full face model and I throughly prefer the field of view I get with this helmet. This helmet provides exceptional peripheral vision.
I am enamored with the built in (fighter pilot style) sunglasses. An exceptional feature and the convenience of slide to engage sunglasses is epic.
This helmet has enriched my riding experience. I find myself making excuses to go ride.

Great fitting helmet, but i went to a store to try one on first and decided to go up one size larger than usual. faceshield works great but seems to pick up the sound of my pipes. the sunvisor could be a darker tint, i found you can order a dark smoke one through accessories.

My wife and I (40+) purchase this helmet for use while riding our Can-AM Commander 1000 XT. It is a great helmet for what we use it for. We really like to dual face sheild makes it easy to talk to each other. I have a full face XXL HJC that I used when I rode a street bike and this helmet fits the same.

I was looking for a hybrid style helmet and this one does the job well..open face ventilation with full face coverage and the inner sunshield is an added bonus that works well..both with and without sunglasses or prescription glasses. I am very satisfied with this HJC helmet as well as other HJC helmets that I own.

The HJC IS-33 is a good helmet for the price. It is comfortable for long rides and gives good field of view. The first helmet was small which the measurement I took, I fell right between a medium and large, after a phone call to Revzilla they suggested the Medium. Once I got it and tried to put it on It was way to tight, and had to return it for the large. The large is a perfect fit for me. I ride behind a windshield so wind nosie I dont know. I really like the built in sun visor because I wear glasses and it is nice to reach up and either close the 3 position slide or touch a button and pop the visor open. The visor does come down far enough to block the direct sun light from coming in . I do like this helmet nice color range, fast shipping

Yes the sun visor can be replaced. The replacement instructions are in the owners manual and it is just as simple as replacing the faceshield.

Yes it can be. By holding down the button to release the sun visor and moving the selector all the way forward it allows very easy access to change out the visor.

Yes. Page 9 of the owner's manual shows how. It's a tool-free change. The part isn't listed on the hjchelmets.com web site but your Harley dealer could likely get it for you.
