Great for keeping the lens clear What a great innovation from just the drop down lexan. No more wiping out the inside of the visor from breath condensation in the cold. If I had it to do again, I would pick the clear instead of the yellow. Too much color change for me. Overall, a very great product! August 10, 2015
WOW It is on point in the description, nothing gets better than getting what u expected. No fog, and the yellow mellows out the sun big time. I would love if it helped more in contrasts at night ( does say not for night use on the box ) but we cant have every thing we want in life. August 10, 2015
I love pin lock visors I purchased the yellow pin lock, it says don't wear at night, but used with a clear visor, it works like blue blocker sunglasses. It lights up everything brighter with a lot less glare. I highly recommend this pin lock. August 5, 2015
Works as expected so far. I've only used this in a new helmet on one ride but it seems to do exactly what it is advertised to do; eliminates fogging. I had no problem with visibility or distortions through the lens during daytime riding. So far, I'm happy. July 14, 2015
Can't imagine a lens without it! Works great. Bought two - one for my clear and one for my smoke lens. Fits perfectly, and works exactly as it is supposed to. I can never go back to not using a pinlock lens. This should be standard on all helmet lenses, period. Getting it in was a bit tricky, as I was trying not to smudge it up with finger prints. There are two notches, and I had to used the "B" notch, to prevent the gasket from getting too close to it when opening and closing the lens. My helmet is a HJC CL-17 small size. Most people will likely use the "A" notch just fine, but check to make sure it doesn't rub the gasket when you open/close. Bottom line: The helmet and every lens should have come with this insert. Does what it's supposed to I had my msf class this past weekend and it was humid and raining the whole time. It does what it says. Didn't fog up once. Thanks again revzilla nothing but great experiences. June 29, 2015
Great purchase! No more fog! It works great! Easy installation too. June 29, 2015
Pin Lock fit the HJC face shield perfectly! A quick and easy to install pillock on the face shield of my HJC modular helmet. Went in easy the very first time. Shipped perfectly without any damage or kinks. June 22, 2015

Bruce B: After a little web research, it looks like you should use the "Max Vision" Pinlock lens insert for the HJC IS-17 that is Pinlock ready.

The HJ-09 Pinlock insert is specifically sized for other HJC helmet models...

Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
R. Frederick L: If you have a pin lock visor, it should work. You must have a visor that has the pins attached. This is an excellent system, which I have had no problems with, or any fogging of the lens.

Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Ahmad S: Yes it is. I live in Cairo, Egypt, and here it gets pretty hot and sunny. Either or does the job here, and both together will render the vision too dark. May 25, 2014

A shopper asked: Does this product include Pinlock pins so that the lens can be installed by drilling holes in HJ-09 shields that are not Pinlock ready? Aug 15, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: The HJC HJ-09 Pinlock Lens is the lens only, it does not come with pins. The Pins are attached to the face shield. We would not recommend drilling holes your shield (not at all. Not even a little bit) as it will compromise the integrity of the product. Aug 16, 2012
