I just wanted to get some basic rain pants but with the heat resistant shields ankle to knee. Though somewhat snug on me, I gave them a 5 because they're comfortable, let me move freely without having to be baggy. They FIT, which I find a little surprising for a rain pant. And I guess it's an "eye of the beholder" thing, but I think they look pretty cool.

Recently I rode from Snowshoe W. Va. to Cleveland, about 10 hours in off and on rain/sleet. The temp ranged from 32 to 48 and the pants kept me dry and warm. I wore the rain pants over a light pair of pants and my First Gear riding pants and I was comfortable. They are not much to look at, but I am not looking to make a style statement. Others in my riding group experienced water penetration.

I was not sure which size to order so I called customer service. Advice was perfect.
I wore these rain pants at this years (2011) Americade during the rain both on and off the bike. They kept me dry.
I plan to purchase the matching jacket in the near future.

Have not needed to use yet on a ride yet, but these seem long...really long. I require a 2XL to fit the waist. They are sized large enough to fit over outer clothing layer. I'm 6' tall and wear 32" inseam, but these seem like they must be 36 or 38 inseams. Long is good in a rain pant, but maybe a little too good lengthwise.
Quality seems good, but haven't given them a real road test yet.
