Good price for what it is Not for cold weather at all... Fit is a little small but fine once you're on the bike. All in all it's a great suit. Feels sturdy. Worth the cost by a longshot January 13, 2014
Great suit for the price...but... Alright, here's my review of the suit. But first a disclaimer. I just got the suit two days ago, its winter ( it just snowed here yesterday) and I have weird dimensions. I picked this suit up temporarily for next season as 1pc for my S1000RR. I never liked the feel of a 2pc, I wanted something better than my aging gear, something track day or two worthy and something to just wear while out on a full day of spirited riding. That being said, the suit is a pretty good piece of gear for the money. Yes it does lack some of the finer details that you would see on a A*'s, Dainese or RS Taichi. The cuffs on both the legs and sleeves aren't finished with a nice stitch or rounded over piece of leather. The leather just ends.... with the liner and leather stitched together. My suit came with a stain on the back inside liner. From what I can tell its glue from the factory. Not that I care, but its something you wont see on a Dainese out of the factory. The stitching itself is just nylon, which isn't bad, but Kevlar isn't exactly expensive anymore. But again for the price, I'll let it slide. Aesthetically, its a very generic looking suit, but it's nice enough that it keeps up with A*'s or the likes. I was a little let down with the blue panels in my suit. The photo's made the blue sections look vibrant and bold. But in reality, the blue sections are more like a navy blue. So without a lot of light, the suit just looks white and black. The armor seems to decent, hoping to never really test it, but the shoulder pads float around too much. On the test fit the armor kept on folding or moving around on me. It took about 4 tries to get the suit fully on without the shoulder armor pads from folding up on me. The fit is VERY true to size. If you follow the Cortech size chart in CM, it will be dead accurate. My personal issue is that for being 6 feet tall I needed a 2XL. But my inseam is about an inch shorter than what an average six foot tall man should be. So I have an extra inch or less down by the ankles. However, my upper torso is about an inch longer than average. So when I stood straight up with the suit, I could feel it get tight on the shoulders and down below. But since I have weird dimensions, it happens with any suit I tried on over the years. Overall I would say, its a pretty good suit for the money. Despite the few shortcomings I found with the suit, for the money you cannot go wrong. I would label it as an intro suit or a casual suit. A suit to wear on a nice hard riding day or a few track days. Anything more than that, I'd would rather get something in the $900+ range. December 11, 2013
Good style and protection for this price I used my new race suit and this is comfort and looks cool. The protection is good maybe i'll upgrade my back protector. The fit is good, in México i'am XL but the L in this guy fit me exactly. I am 5'9 and 205 lbs my chest about 42". The air flow is excelent when i go 60 mph or more. I recommend it. Es confortable y se ve muy chido. La protección es buena, tal vez usare un protector de espalda debajo del traje. En México sería XL pero el L me quedo perfecto (me gusta usarlo entallado tipo motogp) mido 1.74 cm y peso 93kg soy ancho de espalda con un poco de barriga. Cuando voy a más de 80kmh la ventilación es más que excelente. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. October 28, 2013
excellent suit for the price I am 6 foot 0 and 160 lbs. I bought a large 44 and it fits perfect. You will feel alittle uncomfortable puting it on and walking in it but once your on your bike you will not even know your wearing it. Like the others said it breaths very well, at 50 degrees and 100 MPH its freakin cold. But for the price the quality of this suit is excellent. June 2, 2013
Great for my first full suit IT took a few hours to loosen the suit up to where I felt fine wearing it, after getting use to the suit I really enjoy wearing it. It fits me like a glove and almost breath to much for me on cool mornings or evenings. Hot summer days its great. I dont know how well it holds up to a crash but I feel it would protect me just fine. A premium suit that won't break your budget I just received this suit today and my initial impressions are very positive. I obviously can't speak on the durability but it seems competitive with suits that cost hundreds more. The quality really exceeded my expectations for this price point. I put it on for a brief ride and thought the airflow was excellent. The only area I don't consider to be excellent is the style. I think it's a little too bland/boring, but ultimately I thought it had the best style out of the suits that are in a similar price range. At about 5'10 and 180 pounds the medium is extremely snug. If I was half an inch taller or ten pounds heavier I don't think I would fit. Overall, I don't think you can go wrong with this suit and I'd absolutely recommend it to others. March 11, 2013
Comfortable and Safe This was my first Racing Suit, and I felt very comfortable and safe in the track, It gave me the security to tilt the bike easilier and an excellent behavior with the seat. February 18, 2013
Great product for the price. Let me say, I was skeptical at first when i first saw this on the site for such a price with so many essential features. I met a guy on a ride who had it on ( he had a MED )and asked him a few questions and was sold just by what I saw... a quality no non-sense leather suit. He did say that he should have ordered a size smaller as his was a bit off-shoulder. (He was my stature as well) Otherwise he was happy. It was shipped free... I ordered on a Sunday pm and it arrived Tuesday morning! It was bagged in it's own garment bag and shipped in a box. My first impression was the color was vibrant white and the red was subtle but noticeable ;) I specifically ordered a SMALL although I'm 5-8, 165-170. I believe a race suit should be hard to get into and out of. I see a lot of guys that say their expensive suits a comfy but they are ill fitting and too big. (It is my experience that a tight suit is better than one that will give you rug burns once you hit the ground and catch on something.) It is comfy once wrestling it on, but getting my legs in was a challenge. There is WAY TOO MUCH loose material in the legs and my feet (size 9) kept getting caught up in it.. Same for the shoulder. The shoulder protection kept shifting around while putting my arms through. Once on and zipped up though, it was part of me...everything was where it should be and movement was acceptable. There is a bit of nut tug but the flexible panel down there made it tolerable :) All in all, I am happy with the purchase so far...maybe an update when I ride with it later. Cheers! July 10, 2012

Stevan P: Race suits can be difficult to fit when one's measurements fall into different sizing. It is important for the suit to fit the chest and accommodate torso protection but not too loose in the waist and legs for safety. You might benefit from a two piece race suit or separate jacket and pants that you can zip together and guarantee all of your measurements will be supported. Please contact customer service 1-877-792-9455 if you would like to discuss sizing in more detail. Jun 17, 2011

A shopper asked: Hi. Was thinking about a Cortech Latigo RR suit but wanted to know what options do I have for replacing the back armour foam which comes as standard? Mar 27, 2013

RevZilla: We recommend against getting a back protector insert for a race suit as an insert will not stay in place in the event of a crash. We recommend a Race Strap On Back Protector, which is literally strapped to you and will stay in place no matter what! Mar 27, 2013
