I, could not, have imagined the difference this tire has made !
First let me start by saying the tire arrived super fast ! Two day's.
Bought my first, Goldwing, two years ago I, seemed to have to fight the bike to lean it over into a turn over 25 mph, didn't give a feeling of security through the turns, it also had a harsh ride on country roads. then I, put this tire on and now it rides like sports bike eager for the turns also more stable all the way around and now has a much softer ride . I, couldn't be happier with this tire !

P.S. Two more things, my front end shake has gone away completely in all instances, also I, have less than a thousand mile's on this tire so I, can not attest to the tire's longevity or durability ! THIS, will be my next tire and as soon I, need a back tire Bridgestone Exedra, will be the one! I,did not give a five star rating only because of the short time I, have ridden on the tire

My first Bridgestone
I have been getting 22k to 25k on orginal Dunlops. I thught I would try Bridgestone this time, from reading the reviews. They felt a little different from the Dunlops at first, but seem to be fine after about 100 miles. If the last me as long as the Dunlops I will be happy.

Great tire, awesome pricing!
This is the tire that comes stock on 2012-present Honda Gold Wings, and it is the best replacement for the 1988-2010's as well, albeit this particular sizing is for the bias-ply tire for the 1988-2000 GL1500s. While I have yet to try this on my bike, I have been on it several times and the noise level is superior to the Dunlop E3s that most people seem to use...and the tread life promises to be in the 20K range, which is essentially unheard of in motorcycle tires. Bridgestone and Honda collaborated on the tire, it has an 80H rating (the "80" means the ONE tire has a capability of carrying 992 pounds--or 450 kilograms--whereas the "H" signifies 130 MPH--210 KPH). This is more than sufficient for a Gold Wing.

I am looking for tires for my 02 Goldwing GL1800. I was wondering what's the difference between the Exedras that say Radial and the ones that don't besides the price. Are radials better for my ride? Thanks
A shopper on May 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Radials have largely replaced bias ply tires for highway use. They are considered to offer more control and a softer ride with better mileage.

Bias ply tires are less susceptible to sidewall damage and so may be favored for off-road applications.

The Bridgestone Exedra tires were reputedly developed in a partnership with Honda specifically for the big Goldwings. In my humble opinion the radials are the tire of choice for commuting and especially if your rides include a lot of twisty roads.
I have a 96 1500SE and am looking at 'stones for it. However, I think my sizes are 150/80R17 and 180/70R16 which I don't see on your list. Do you not have those or do I have the wrong sizes? Thanks.
A shopper on Oct 22, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I'm pretty sure your wrong about the size tires you have because I have a 95 GL1500 Aspencade and I have the original 130/70R18 and 160/80R16 for the rear. I'm not an expert on the SE series of GW's so I may be wrong. Good Luck.
