Wife wanted the mirrored since she can't get her sunglasses on with the RX-Q padding. In the interest of looking as cool as her, I also got the mirrored silver. Very nice looking on the Diamond Grey solid. Tried in the kitchen (brightest room without walking around in the back yard) and looks like it will be a good sunny-into-evening shield. Arai specifically warns against using anything other than the clear at night, but I have a set of mirrored goggle/glasses when I'm wearing a half helmet just cruising around and they are great if you want to ride non-stop into the evening.
Did not close tight as easily as the clear that came with the helmet on my XL size. Her S was fine. That could be just tolerances and it still closes tight, just not as easy.

Great looking shield the added vent openings help in hot days. A but tricky to replace but once it's in the helmet looks great very quiet and seals well.

I picked this up for my Arai Signet-Q. After watching Revzilla's video on how to attach the shield, It went on in no time. I got the darkest shade hoping it wouldn't be too dark. It was perfect. I'm used to riding with sunglasses with my vintage 3/4 helmets all the time. The darkest shade visor is not only great during the day, I found myself wishing it was slightly darker, but that's just my preference. I do a lot of riding home from work at night so I was a bit worried about how dark the shield was. It isn't a problem at all. A month later and I ride almost every night and the darkness of the shield is not a problem at all. If you're worried about it being too dark, dont be. Just buy it already!

My other Arai shields did not fit my new Corsair V helmet. Turns out I needed to buy a new dark smoke shield to fit it. Revzilla was cheaper than anyone else (including ebay!) , even including shipping! Also, I ordered on Monday, and received the shield on Wednesday - Awesome!
