Purchased to replace worn chin strap cover on RX-7 or known as the Corsair V in the US. Fits perfectly and no more stuff on my hands.
Shipped really fast and service is always first rate.

Nice for comfort
This is a nice comfort addition to your Arai helmet, softening the abrasion of the chin strap on your skin. This is the type of thing I have become accustomed to with my Shuberth, but missed not having it on the Arai.
The product simply is a slip-on, over the long end of your chin strap.
There's a bit of a downside to be aware of, which is that whenever you take your helmet off, there's nothing preventing it from falling on the ground. One package comes with 2 pieces in it, so you'll have a spare. It took me 1/2 day to lose my first one!
There are no instructions in the package or on-line, but I deduced that the small yellow plastic tab at the end is something you're supposed to use to snap to the end of your strap and prevent it from falling off. Because you have to do this every time you remove your helmet, you'll probably forget once and it will fall off. I'm working on adding a little velcro to my strap so this will stay on.
Bottom line is, I think it's a nice product, but really missing a mechanism to keep it affixed. Definitely worth the hassle for a long hot trip, but for running around town or commuting, the hassle factor might outweigh your benefit ...unless you're willing to Macgyver a solution to keep it from falling off.

Nice to have spares!
I swap these out along with the liner and cheek pads at the end of the day with a fresh set.

Rob R: I Like having an additional chinstrap cover to swap out on longer multi-day rides. At the end of the day, just pull out old stinky, sweaty chinstrap cover and swap in the fresh set and your ready for a new day of adventure!Apr 27, 2014
