Thin and comfortable I was unsure of this chest protector due to the lack of reviews regarding it but I decided to take a chance on it. Worst case scenario I would return it. First off this chest protector is thin and made of a well ventilated medium density foam. However, if ever in a situation it is solid enough to take an impact. When I wear it under my Tech 1-R suit it is not noticable. I thought it would take a while to get used to wearing a chest protector but the design of it makes it very easy to forget it's there until you unzip your suit to take it out. It compliments the Bionic Race snap in back protector nicely. Your suit will have to fit snug enough to hold the chest guard in place since there is no strapping system, but other then that it is a nice piece or protective equipment.
