Before I bought these, I had several other riders tell me that they had other boots before their Supertech R's and that the Supertechs were FAR more comfortable and they wish they would have just bucked up and bought them in the first place. I decided to take their advice and just buck up the first time around and I'm glad I did! Yes, they are expensive, but they are super comfortable and still very protective. I went with the vented model because I do not ride in the rain and I'd rather be a little too cold than too hot. One warning - they run SUPER big! I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 in shoes and had to go with a 41 (7.5) in Supertechs. Do yourself a favor and try them on somewear and then buy here!

PROOF FROM SOMEONE WHO RACES BIKES AND RIDES SOCIALLY
These are by far the most comfortable Race boots I have ever ridden in. I feel they fit about a size larger and are accomadating to any foot type even very wide feet. I have worn a great deal of so called top of the line race boots, 2009 Dainese Axial Race Pro (In), 2010 Puma V3's, 2010 Dainese "ROSSI" Race Replicas and that's just to name a few. Lets say I rate the Supertech R Vented at 10/10, None of the other boots mentioned (Some a lot more expensive) would rate anything higher than a 7 compared to these. The buck stops here ladies and Gentleman. DO NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER. THESE ARE THE REAL DEAL IN EVERY WAY.

I'm size 12 in all my running shoes and these boots fit spot on. In case u missed it, these boots are RIDICULOUSLY COMFY, they feel great on AND off the bike, you can wear them everywhere, i've walked around in them for hours. The only time they get a LITTLE BIT warm is when u r sitting at lunch outside in a 30+ celsius weather day (something like 90+ F) other than that, the ventilation is superb. The protection is good (i guess, since i LUCKILY haven't crash test them) but they seem like they would hold up well, there is a safety that prevents your ankle from spraining, it won't let the joint move past the point of safe bend. There is a velcro to keep the laces of the inner boot to get tangled up in the pedals, nice touch, The inner boot itself is great, sometimes annoying when taking it off, as it comes out of the shell... Overall this is a great pair of street/track boots, RECOMMENDED

These boots are so comfortable that I could wear them on 8 hr workdays while on my feet. When heel strikes while walking, it is no more uncomfortable than a pair of hiking boots. The shank and forefoot flex great. I have sizing problems with these boots. I wear 43 in any other pair of shoes, including cycling shoes, but I had to send these back twice to get the correct size, ending up with a 41. I would recommend these boots for comfort and cool styling (white) but being so comfortable I cannot help but wonder about their protective potential and long term durability. Which brings up the point in Sidi's genius by incorporating a replaceable sole section of their Vortice, albeit not as comfortable.

Upon first visual inspection, Supertech R (mine are Vented) look wide, almost ski-boot-ish. open the side zipper and get ready to be surprised....there is an inner booty! Bizarre! But try it on...extremely comfortable, which makes one wonder if this is really a track/race boot! (shouldn't they hurt when off the bike?) When riding, there is more air being rammed through the boot than any other boot I've worn. Confidence inspiring, great fit, great protection, makes you forget you're wearing them. Cons? EXPENSIVE...
