Good socks, but air flow is not great
The socks are comfortable, provide ample support in the necessary areas, and stay up on your legs - which is nice (so your shins are not rubbing against your boots).
These are not super thin, as there is some padding around the foot. Also, they don't seem to provide a lot of air flow - in my perforated boots, I had better air flow with thin dress socks. However, these socks are tall and feel nice on your feet.

Socks started to "pill" after 1 ride!
Got these socks and after the FIRST ride I noticed that the socks where already "pilling" in the areas that it rubbed the boot. The sock material was considerably worn after 5 hours of riding (without much walking). Would never buy again. Other socks I own do not show this sign of wearing and they have been used considerably more.

Excellent sock, stays up when riding and walking.
The protects against the inside of my riding boots. They are very comfortable, don't even know they are on. Feet haven't gotten hot, air flow seems to be good. I would buy these socks again. I have a size 10 foot and bought the small size, they fit perfectly.

Great Socks
I've been wearing these for about a month now, and there perfect in every way. I've tried others, and they were either too high or too short, and some of them made my feet too hot (I live in So Cal) but these are just the right height (with my Dainese Torque Pro boots) and I can ride all day and be comfortable.

Great for the heat
Great fit, soft feel and excellent wicking of sweat. I like that they don't come up to my knees. I'm 5'7" and they come just over the tops of my 11" boots. Socks are not the place to buy cheap.

Great summer socks
Great for hot to cool weather. Very comfortable in my boots.

Nice Summer Sock
I bought 2 pair of these for summer riding. The length is good for any boot that you may own. There are mesh panels down the back and over the top of the feet and cushion on the heels and front of the leg. With a breathable boot (like the gore-tex ones I have) they work better than my normal wool socks for keeping my feet dry during a ride. They may look funny with a pair of shorts on, but once my mesh pants are on over them they are great.
The mesh areas look a little fragile so I'm being careful putting them on but no issues so far. The only other issue (personal not with the product) I have is that I can't wear them to work. Unlike my black wool riding socks I can't wear these with my work shoes once I get to work. This means for me that I'll only be using them on weekend rides, which is totally fine. It would be nice to find the same socks in black.

This sock fits true to size, perfect for spring to fall riding conditions.

e Alpinestars Summer Touring Socks are fairly thin. If you are looking to fill out some extra room try something like the Alpinestars Thermal Tech Socks or the Klim Mammoth Socks, both of which will be thicker. The Mammoth Socks are Klims warmest and thickest technical sock.
