Good socks.
These socks have a good fit, are comfortable and keep my feet cool. I wear them with my Roam 2 Air boots and they work well. I wear a size 11.5 wide and the large-extra large size fits great.

Excellent sock, stays up when riding and walking.
The protects against the inside of my riding boots. They are very comfortable, don't even know they are on. Feet haven't gotten hot, air flow seems to be good. I would buy these socks again. I have a size 10 foot and bought the small size, they fit perfectly.

Good comfortable socks
I just order these socks and used them on couple of 100 mile rides. The temperature varied between high 60’s to high 70’s .
The socks were used with heavy duty motorcycle boots which are not very breathable (Falco 480 Raid). My feet were getting warm towards the end of each ride but they stayed dry. I went riding for comparison purposes in similar condition using regular (very thin) cotton sock and my feet did get wet by the end of the ride. I am not sure how well these socks will stand regular washing and drying but if my previous experience with Alpinestar products is any indicator no reason to worry there.

Great, Comfortable Socks
Exactly above - these socks are a must on hot days...wore them on a 90 degree humid day with some VERY non-breathable Vega boots, and they were incredible....feet came out completely dry, even though the sock felt damp. Made my ride that much more enjoyable :)

Great Socks
I've been wearing these for about a month now, and there perfect in every way. I've tried others, and they were either too high or too short, and some of them made my feet too hot (I live in So Cal) but these are just the right height (with my Dainese Torque Pro boots) and I can ride all day and be comfortable.

Great sock
I have alpinestar boots and these feel great. I have a size 8 boot and I bought the SM-MD and they are perfect. I have worn them 5 times so far and they do not show any signs of wear. I have only worn them in warm summer weather and I have no complaints, they worked well.

Great for the heat
Great fit, soft feel and excellent wicking of sweat. I like that they don't come up to my knees. I'm 5'7" and they come just over the tops of my 11" boots. Socks are not the place to buy cheap.

I have had little other purchases similar to this but wanted to see if a more specialized sock system to go with my touring (Dainese) and Adventure (SIDI) boots would be a better combo for overall foot comfort. Will soon see.

Got one pair a year ago. Feels fine, fits right. Now I won't have to try so hard to dry my one pair after washing in a motel sink.

got these to compare to the Rev'It tour summer socks. Rev'It won, but these are comfortable too.
Eric H on Jul 8, 2014
Wanted to compare these socks with the A-star Pro Coolmax socks. These are very nice but not enough to justify the added expense, in my opinion.

I like comfort and that means moisture wicking base layers.

Are these socks thick enough to fill out a boot that has a little bit if wiggle room?
A shopper on Nov 3, 2012
BEST ANSWER: e Alpinestars Summer Touring Socks are fairly thin. If you are looking to fill out some extra room try something like the Alpinestars Thermal Tech Socks or the Klim Mammoth Socks, both of which will be thicker. The Mammoth Socks are Klims warmest and thickest technical sock.
