Alpinestars Summer Tech Long Sleeve Top
good base layer
Joe Chirik recommended this product for my great Alaska adventure because the Rev'it Violet base layer was out of stock. It worked well and wicked away sweat. It was comfortable as well I prefer the Violet base layer because they accommodate ladies curves better. If you can't get those... These will certainly do the trick!

Far too small even in xxl.
I wear xxl in most stuff and do have compression wear for the winter, so I have a good Idea what snug fitting is like. This garment in the largest size possible wouldn't even let me get my chest into it. Nice fabric and all but a shame that that the xxl is just not big enough.

Overpriced, wrong sized, not comfortable
Have this thermal. Both long "summer" shirt and long pants.
1. They are super tight. If you decide to buy - buy at least 1 size bigger than yours.
2. I find material of my Rukka/Revit/Brubeck thermals MUCH, MUCH more comfortable and working better.
I'm disappointed, wasted about 150 bucks for a piece of s.... nothing, piece of floor-cloth =D

It really works to keep you cool under your full grain leather racing suits
This product may be expensive, but it really works. It keeps your body cool while you're wearing your heavy leather gears. You can't compare this item with the under armor because this is made for racing gears and not sports equipment. Though they have similar functions, they serve different purposes and are designed with come rely different material and fabrics.
After putting the shirt on I feel an immediate drop in body temperature. The difference is quite noticeable.
While people feel that this shirt is same as the under armor. However this item is made in Italy whereas the under armor is made in third world countries.
The compression fit of this item is great. It feels tight, but not uncomfortably so. You wouldn't feel queasy wearing this shirt after a heavy meal. An under armor will surely work, but this is more suitable for motorcycle application.
I really recommend this product if you ride a lot in full leather gear in hot summer.

Great way to beat the heat at the track!
Purchased the Alpinestars Summer Tech Long Sleeve Top to beat the heat during my daily 80 mile commute and trackdays out here in the Mohave Desert. It's wickability and air flow were apparent as soon as I put it on. On the track this past weekend with temps over 90 degrees I was extremely comfy and was cool with leathers on or off. A must have as an efficient undergarment!
Fit is some what small so order one size up from what you normally wear.

100$?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!
This is basically an under armor rip off. They think they can charge 100$ just because it's "motorcycle" gear. Save yourself 70 dollars and go buy a long sleeve under armor warm weather shirt. Or if your looking for something to keep you warm underarmor makes cold weather shirts EXACTLY like this as well for around 40-50$. 100$---alpine I am ashamed of your greediness.

Looks right, works OK
The quality is fine, but I don't recommend this only because I doubt any of this kind of gear is really worth the price. I've been to two track days, and the weather was identical on both days - warm, sunny, occasional breezes, average humidity (rained hard the night before). The first time I had an ordinary cotton long-sleeve T, the second time I had this. Not sure I was any more comfortable with this, but at least I looked a little more like I knew what I was doing. On the other hand, if coolmax makes a noticeable difference for you, then this is good gear - just got it out of the wash and it looks like it will hold up very well.

Great undergarment for hot track day
Couldn't believe how effective this piece of under suit garment works until i actually tried it on a hot and humid track day. While price is a bit on the high side, at least u get get wat u are paying for. Now just need to see if it will last.
