Love these gloves
I picked up these gloves because I've had good history with Alpinestars and I wanted better protection. I like the 3-4 finger bridge (pinkie protection). I was worried it would make it hard to ride with the fingers connected, but I don't even think about it. Also the gloves are very soft, softer I think than SP series. I'm not sure about durability considering how they feel softer than SP - but I'm very happy with protection, feel, etc. And I like that these are classed as race gloves so I can use them if I ever want to go to track. I haven't been able to feel any air flow though these, so they work well as a fall-winter-spring glove for temperate climates like California. Wearing these in summer would be a little rough depending.

excellent winter glove!
I only gave it a 4:5 in comfort because of all the winter layering, its a bit difficult to range your fingers as much. I only gave 3:5 on air flow for similar reasoning -- the heavy duty winter wonderful warmth this glove provides comes with the obvious diminishing features of breathing and dexterity. in general I would recommend this glove to anyone riding in wet or cold conditions. I love the visor wipe! its excellent. its my first Alpinestars product and I look forward to buying more of their stuff! its great!

I'm a racer and have had a few crashes. As my hands and their function are very important to me, I feel extremely safe wearing these gloves. They have saved my hands a couple of times. Soft and supple from the get go. No break in period. Highly recommended. The shipping time was impressive. Had my product within 4 days and the guys were awesome to deal with!

Overall, a good glove
Fits small, so order at least one size up. I bought these specifically for a three day riding class. The first day, they fit tight in the pointer finger, but at the end of the day the leather had stretched and the fit was right on. I did notice that the leather between the thumb and pointer finger was pilling by the third day and the straps had threads hanging off, which is why I marked it "good" for protection & durability. Another point to consider: the fingers are long. They don't interfere with brake or clutch control, though. Overall, I'm very happy with this glove and would recommend it to others.
