just went for a 20 minute ride in 34° weather. bottom line, hands warm, fingers frozen. 2 hrs later it's 43° and i ride back. hands warm, fingers cold (but not frozen#. the wind does not seem to be fully blocked from the fingers. this was a good test, b/c i have no windscreen nor heated grips. i'm very thankful that these gloves do make it possible to take a short ride on a cold day. they are less bulky than other winter gloves and still look like m/c gloves. one suggested improvement for Alpinestars: the cuff is great, just make the outer part with the velcro strap separate #not connected to the cuff). that way, the cuff is inside your jacket, and the 'outer cuff' would be outside your jacket. this would improve fit and function.

The gloves fit perfectly and are very well insulated against the cold. My hands don't sweat in the gloves and feel comfortable.

The gloves are solid-perfect for cold riding w/heated grips..had them down into the 30's. Only complaint for me is the plasticized logo around the cuff makes it hard to get the cuff of my coat over them. Allow some break-in time, though- they are softening up w/ every ride-

I really like these gloves, but you had better be sure it's cold outside when you wear them! They are very warm and comfortable, great winter glove. They're a little expensive but just about everything is when it comes to riding so just go ahead and fork it over.

I got these for the cooler weather since my other gloves were not warm enough. I have ridden in sub 40 degree weather and my hands were perfectly dry. My hands never got cold or clammy. The gortex definitely breathes nicely. The only complaint I kinda have is that on my throttle hand the material seems to bunch up a bit causing a ridge where my fingers meet my palm. This seems to be going away a little bit though the more I wear them and break them in.

From BURBANK
After riding with these gloves from December 2009 to today, I noticed that the very strong Velcro has a tendency to rip the stitching out of the Velcro patch sewn to the glove. I've worked the needle and thread twice now. Other than this, the glove is awesome.

The fit was spot on. I wore them this morning during a HEAVY rain. My hands stayed dry. When the temps drop below 45F, the finger tips get a little chilled. Overall... great glove.
