Alpinestars M1 Gloves
Top notch quality and finish
Almost perfect, I gave it a 4 star rating only because the gloves fit small and it takes a while to break in. I really wanted to give it 5 stars because they really appeal to me, but its a little uncomfortable after about an hour and a half of riding. I could never use these as an all day kind of glove, as the next size up is too wide. I guess im just in between sizes. They definitely still work for shorter rides, and they should last a long while so im sure they will break in a little more after a year or so.
The overall look of these gloves, and the regular s-1 gloves for that matter, are hands down my favorite for that road warrior look. The shorter cuff and less bulky feel make them extremely fluid and articulate, they almost feel like a cross between a motocross glove and a guantlet glove. The quality and finish are second to none, as usual with alpinestars. Great glove overall, however the fit is a little off for me.

Exactly What I Wanted
I bought these for my husband as a gift. They fit slightly small, which is apparently what they're supposed to do as they'll stretch a little with use. (that's why I put "true to size") He was extremely happy with the gift, and was just what he needed AND wanted.

Great looking glove
I just received my gloves today and they are sweet! Couldn't be more happy with how quick they shipped and how nice they fit. I ordered a M and it is a tight fit but will break in. Some people say order a size up, but I MO don't. I'll write another review when I actually put some miles on these. Won't be soon because PA weather is terrible.

Comfortable and stylish with durability issues
I have had these gloves for nearly two years and rode around 10k miles with them on different bikes.
These gloves are pre-curved, fit European - I ordered an M which felt snug but broke in overtime. They feel identical to my size 8 Rukka gloves. I have very "delicate" or feminine hands with long fingers and Alpinestars fit my hands best.
The leather looks very high quality with double stitching all around with the exception of index finger.
A year after I got these gloves, part of the plastic strap broke off on both gloves within days of each other, but they were still wearable. About 6 months after that the velcro on the actual glove began to come off and I finally retired these gloves.
For $160 I believe you can buy a higher quality glove, but I still recommend them based on style and how perfect they felt after break-in.

Tight fit at first but nice and comfy now. Look great and fit perfectly with alpinestars leather jacket.

Best glove ever!
I bought this for my black and green ninja ZX14R. Everything about this glove amazes me. The style, the color, the stitching, and the overall fit. They run a bit small, so order one size up!

I purchased these gloves to go with the Alpinestars GP-R Leather Jacket (which I got with the small bits of green on it). Obviously I ride a kwakka and wanted to have a bit of green with my street riding gear. These gloves are almost exactly what I expected, as I thought the plastic strap would be of a slightly higher quality (not that it's bad). The gloves fit well and the protection is the best for a street glove without going full gauntlet. If you're planning on wearing this glove over a jacket, make sure you try it on first as it's a snug fit (I'm getting my jacket wrists tailored to fit underneath).

Very tight at first
Bought these gloves for a sportbike and they're very stiff and hard to put on at first, but do seem to flex and give more as you wear them on the bike. They run a bit small on fit, too. I'm still trying to break them in fully, and they're fitting better now. Good protection.
