Bought this suit back in February 2011 and have never been disappointed. I got a smaller size 42 US/52 Euro for my height - 6'1" 170lb based on a recommendation from a salesman at a local bike shop. The suit fit quite snug and was short, but with full length riding boots and full length gloves, the deficiency was/is hardly noticable. I appreciated the tighter fit as it seemed to improve the look and feel, though there is a very slight discomfort with full pads when performing certain maneuvers. The removable liner makes it easier to clean, and the removable pads make it so you can use this suit both on the track and on the road. The blue/white/black is almost a perfect match with my Suzuki GS500F Blue/White. I have not experienced any crashes with this suit, but am quite comfortable with the protection offered - especially with the pads inserted. Great job once again, Alpinestars, on a fine suit for a great price!

I wanted to upgrade my textile riding gear to leather and was undecided between a pants/jacket combo and a one-piece suit. I was definitely going with Alpinestars because of excellent past experiences with their products. I wanted quality and was willing to pay for it.
I decided to go with a 1-piece because the CR was on clearance at a very good price and had all the features I was looking for in a first suit.
At first I thought the sizing was going to be difficult. I am 6'5" 240#. The size chart indicated I needed a size 60 due to height, but I didn't need as much room in the chest and waist. I went with the 60 and it fits fine. It's slightly baggy in the mid-section and seat, however with the addition of back/chest protection I think it will fill up. The roominess in the seat goes away when in the riding position. My only other comment on sizing is that the calves are very baggy. Apparantly the suit is sized for a bodybuilder.
I was a little disappointed there was no armor in the shoulders however I will be purchasing the add-on shoulder armor when I get the back and chest protection.
It is well ventilated. It's comfortable between 60 and 85 degrees.
The construction is very solid and I'm very satisfield with the level of protection offered.
I've worn it on two long rides (160 miles and 450 miles). Very comfortable riding for long periods and a relaxed fit so that I can walk around off the bike on breaks and fuel stops. I 'm looking forward to wearing it at the track tomorow.

Bought it on closeout, but after riding with it I would seriously consider it again if was at normal pricing. Amazing Alpinestars quality of both construction and design. Armor and padding is first class. Leather where it needs to be, spandex nylon where it doesn't need to be, suit fits like a glove right away as a result. I'm 5-11, 160 lbs, thin build and the size 40 fits me like a glove after only 1 ride (forearms are a tad tight, but should stretch). Venting is great; hang a leg out and the air comes right in. Rode in 90 deg desert weather and overheating wasn't an issue while at speed. Zipper goes all the way below crotch, key for easy 'relief' stops. Easily one of the best pieces of moto gear I have ever purchased, highly recommend!

This is a good, simple suit. It doesn't have a ton of extra features like locking zippers or velcro around the wrists and legs, but it does have all the right armor and stretch panels and necessary bits. I feel comfortable and safe wearing this suit.

I got the CR suit because I wanted to get into track days. I contacted Revzilla's customer service and they were a huge help in sizing the suit for me - it fits me like a glove! I bought a size small and am 5' 11" 160lbs w/ a 40" chest.
The style of the suit is great (and the crotch thing isn't all that prominent in real life, despite what stock photos may show).
Air flow seems pretty good riding on the street, and I imagine is much better at a track pace.
The only thing that was a little disappointing is that there is not a standard back protector - you need to get the alpinestars bionic back protector to snap in to the inside of the suit (next on my list).

I do about 4 trackdays a year and this suit fits better with each trip to the track. It's functional, breathes great and provides excellent protection. I'm 5-10, 165 pounds and bought a 38, (a 40 would have been the ideal fit off the rack).
The leather stretches and forms to the body so if you're lean, and can fit in ther tighter suit, it will pay dividends by your fourth trackday. (An undersuit works magic with getting in and out of the suit, but more on that in another review).
Great suit and at closeout price, you can't go wrong. The black and white looks soooo much better than what the picture depicts.

I am 6' 3"-- 42L" chest-- 36"x34"---36"x36" pant's depends on brand with long arms and about 205 lbs . Got a little gut. This suit fits perfect in the body and legs but the arms could use another inch. Gauntlets still cover though. When I add my back protector the suit fits nice and snug. Without the back protector it leaves a little room to relax enough if you catch a side wind hard it will slightly blow up. The armour in the arms fit perfect as you are able to adjust the protector back and forth about a 1". The knee pads are the same and the 2 piece chin and knee pad design lets the suit bend nice without the pads being uncomfortable. Stretch panels work great and are in the right locations. The leg length is very generous which is nice if your tall.

Fit true to size but TIGHT!! That is how it should be for the track. Decent ventilation when it is warm but at cooler temps it is a little too much.

The padding and armor is attached to the inner removable fabric liner. The hard armor is removable, some of the minor padding on the hips etc is permanent. This suit has ZERO spine protection, so I bought a Icon Stryker Field Armor to wear under mine. If you removed the hard armor, It may still be awkward to wear both layers under the leather, especially if the suit is tight. The armor in this suit is VERY nice, so I would get just back and chest protection like I did, vs the entire Bionic setup.

You can remove all the armor in the CR-One Piece Suit and fit the Alpinestars Bionic 2 Protection Jacket underneath. It might be a snug fit but you should be able to fit the Bionic 2 Jacket under your standard race suit size.
