Alpinestars Bionic Chest Pad
I bought these for my Alpinestars T-GP Pro jacket and they fit in there great if you put them in there right. Personally I put them in upside down and put the plates on the opposite side because that felt more comfy to me. The only problem with that is they don't perfectly fit in the pocket of the jacket. Sometimes they manage to move the Velcro and try to fall out the bottom. I have to re-position them about once a month. Like I said I don't have them put in right because they feel more comfy this way. Overall they are very sturdy. They are also very good at helping the jacket deflect even more wind. While I wear them, I feel like they would stop a small caliber bullet. If I had to buy them again, I would.

Added piece of mind
I throw these chest protectors into my A* suit coupled with the Bionic Race Back Protector. Its an added peace of mind for a small monetary cost. It does make the suit a little bulkier in the chest area, however I do not feel the protectors while I am riding. They become one with the suit.
I'm going to throw these into my everyday riding jacket as well!

Beef up your protection.
I have purchased this to help make my Celer Jacket fit tighter and add strength to it.

Don't Ride Without
I bought the chest and back protectors when I purchased my new GP Tech Air jacket. These bionic protectors are far superior to the foam inserts that come with A* jackets. While the foam is better than nothing, the bionics are much more rigid yet are about the same thickness. They don't take up any more space than the foam originals and definitely provide superior protection.

Nice additional protection
When riding a motorcycle, protection is never too much. These pads fit perfectly on the jackets and definitely adds a little more protection for the rider.

Good value - decent protection
I bought these to keep in my Alpinestars GP-Plus R jacket and they certainly increase the level of protection for a minimal price. They are comfortable (can't even tell they are there) and don't really take away from the jacket's airflow properties. Its really one of those pieces of gear where its so cheap that there is no reason not to run them.
I recently highsided @ about 60mph on the track with these on a but luckily didn't take a chest impact so I can't really comment on how effective they are.

Great addition to your jacket...
Great extra protection for your jacket, fits perfect in the jacket and you don't feel it's there.

Great addition to A* gear. Others need not apply.
I started riding on the track this year, and found through experience that it's REALLY good to have chest protection that's easy to remove between sessions for comfort and cooling. With these pads in the chest pockets built into A* jackets and suits, you get the protection with zero hassle. Just unzip and you're nice and cool. I do wish these were CE rated, but they do appear to be reasonably substantial - similar to other armor I've seen that is rated. Nice bonus is that I can swap them over to my street jacket in less than a minute. Track gear that also works for everyday riding!
