they feel like they would protect your chest and ribs very well. i haven't had to test it out yet, thankfully. but alpine makes quality products and i expect their protection to be of the same quality

I used these in my Alpinestars Durban jacket, and I don't even notice they're in! Perfect fit, seamless as I wear the jacket. I wouldn't ride without them ,since the handlebars are one of the main causes of injury in even the smallest accidents (remember, that's where your chest is going forward in even the lightest impact). The only better option would be a full one peace chest protector, but it's inconvenient for everyday use and commuting. If you're on the track, or touring, get the proper one pice chest protection. Otherwise, for convenience, use these and don't ride without them!

I bought these pads to go into my Alpinestars T-Stunt Air Flow jacket. They fit perfectly in the jacket and I don't notice them at all while I'm riding. Great protection at a decent price.

Bought this chest upgrade when I bought my Astars GP-R jacket, cant be happier, fits in the jacket with ease and seams like it will do alot better than the foam inserts that come with the jacket. Only recommendation is to actually mark which pad is for R and L.

i just finished my first ride, 130 miles, with these in my jacket. the fit and comfort is great! they fit nice in my alpinestars gp-r perf jacket. the airflow is excellent!

I originally purchased these for my size-small AStars Frontier Jacket after a Revzilla customer support rep recommended that they would fit. No dice. The size-small Frontier's internal pockets are too small. The useless foam inserts I pulled out of the Frontier are significantly smaller than the Bionic chest pads. So I placed the Bionic chest pads into my MX-1 jacket instead.
