Great looking helment Excellent for warm weather and city ridding. very nice fit and quality. May 14, 2015
Perfect scooter helmet Cool styling Decent airflow Great fit and super light. April 7, 2015
Great helmet for my Kymco scooter Just got this helmet last week. LOVE it!! I did a lot of research on helmets, this one totally won out. Great features. Helmet venting works great. The most comfortable fit I've had with a helmet. December 1, 2014
Great field of view I'm not a big helmet wearer. I have ridden for 25+ years and only the past 5 or so have I worn one. I started with a half helmet but found it wasn't very comfortable. The low pressure created by the dome and the helmet would lift up off my head, not cool. I then tried a couple of full face helmets guys at the shop had extra from their collections. Big difference. Although I found them to be restricting my field of view way too much when looking back over my shoulder, especially at speed. It too was not cool. So I emailed Rezvilla looking for options and they said this 3/4 was cut back and offered better then most full face helmets. They also suggested a few full face models to look at when I emailed for help. I haven't put a ton of miles on with this yet but for blasting around town and back and forth to work its been great. One negative that I didn't have at all with the full face was the wind noise, whistle, that happens when the face shield is lifte any more then one detent. The full face shields I'd tried you could have them as open or close as I liked without issue. I've not tried riding without the screen at all but imagine I'll have wind in the eye issues wearing glasses. Overall with my limited experience with this or any helmet I'd say its a winner. Light weight, good looks, not too noisy with the screen down. May 16, 2014
Good helmet at a great price It's and open face helmet so its going to be loud(er# than your average full face. I have had 2 Blade helmets. The first one I was in an accident with so I can vouch for the crash worthiness. I did bang the left side of my head on the pavement pretty hard - but the helmet saved me. The accident was at about 30 mph - but that is plenty to kill you - especially when you are hit from the right by an inattentive car driver. Anyway - the Blade is a very good value - nice and light for the blazing hot summer days. Not going to be quiet at highway speed for obvious reasons. Mounting in a Sena SMH-10 or Scalarider Bluetooth is easy on this helmet #I use a clamp on Bluetooth). The shield comes off super easy - two twist lugs but you must be careful not to lose them otherwise you will be out of luck. Dark smoke shields are very nice. The shields are not the super high quality type that resist all scratching but they are functional and don't distort your field of view. April 29, 2014
great for the price it's comfortable, light, and for the price a great helmet, i think. Depending on how you hold your head, the wind might come to your eyes, but slight adjustment and you're fine. It's relatively loud, but I think with an open helmet, that's normal. I haven't tested it in real hot days yet, so not sure how the venting will do, or wether the small cushions on the side will keep too hot. I love the quick release buckle. Hmm, I got matte black. It can get scratched easily. But, I don't mind. April 15, 2014
Light and confortable Is a really nice option for a open helmet, i strongly recommend it and im happy to have it January 6, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Richard B: Reviews Jul 9, 2015
Anne V: smaller shell size - lower profile. Wide range of vision for city scooter riding and it looks cool. I also wanted a full face shield, although I'm hoping this comes down far enough. Wish it came in more colors but otherwise I'm obviously willing to give it a try. Jun 22, 2015
RAY M: I have a full face and a modular helmet but looking for an open face helmet to wear on those really hot summer days. AGV seems to have the fit, quality, style and price for the helmet. Jun 15, 2015
Alexander C: Needed cooler, lighter alternative to Arai full-face. On and off road. Jun 2, 2015
Carlos E: Awesome looking Apr 14, 2015
ken c: Cool design and excellent fit.
Has ventilation even though it is an open face helmet.

Will K: Great price and a solid italian design. Sep 19, 2014
Steve C: Good looks, light weight, protection, some ventilation, quick disconnect strap and since I've done over 2000 miles with it already I can say that the wind noise is gone. It's a happy medium between a 1/2 helmet and a 3/4 helmet. Aug 12, 2014
Donald H: Looks and weight! Runs a little large though! Aug 7, 2014
David N: I think it'll work great with my Polaris rzr 900. At least I hope. Thanks Jun 27, 2014
K U: Functional and light weight use in Texas heat with my Vespa. May 11, 2014
Tim S: going to try it out on my road glide for summer riding Apr 12, 2014
Robert J: Style and quality of helmet from a reputable dealer. Dec 25, 2013
A shopper asked: From the shape of the helmet it is difficult to see if the face shield covers the chin of the wearer. Does the face shield go to or below the chin? Please use a light color helmet in the demo and have some put it on it would help out. Mar 20, 2015

Lisa M: I own it and the face shield does not go below the chin. That is probably the biggest downsize. The cheek pads go down further along the side of the face but the chin in the front is more exposed than what would be the case for many other 3/4 helmets. Apr 11, 2015

Lisa M: If you look at the 6 second mark of the video, you'll see the shield does not go right to the chin. Apr 11, 2015

Lisa M: I own the helmet and it does fit to the end of my chin. Perhaps it fits different head shapes differently. May 4, 2015
Donald O: Hi Lisa:
I agree, it fits to the bottom of my chin also. I was just trying to indicate that it doesn't go much below the chin.

A shopper asked: Hi, I am buying this for my brother and am completely an ignoramus when it comes to such matters. Please advise if the specs of this helmet include the following?

Painted HIR-TH (high resistant thermoplastic) resin shell
Ventilation system includes front air intakes and side extractors
Dry Comfort liner padding is fully removable and washable (including neckroll)
City 11 clear visor is anti-scratch and UV resistant
“Double Rail” XQRS (Extra Quick Release System) allows for fast, tool-less shield replacement
Micro-metric adjustment chin strap

Thank you.

Brad W: I cannot verify what the shell is actually made of; you have to trust the specs the manufacturer lists as far as that goes. There are two front air intakes that can be opened or closed. There are side extractors. I haven't removed the liner padding, but from what I have observed and read in the owners manual it is removable and washable. The visor is clear, but I ordered a tinted one and use it most of the time. I haven't scratched either one. The specs and stickers attached say it is anti-scratch and UV resistant. The shield is tool-less replaceable and replaces easy. I love the micro-metric adjustment chin strap; I am usually waiting on fellow riders to adjust and attach there chin straps between stops. I have really enjoyed this helmet so far. I didn't like wearing a helmet in the past, but I wear this helmet a lot. Aug 27, 2013

Patrick M: I do not have the helmet in front of me, but I am confident that all the specs are correct that you listed. I own a few helmets and this is by far my favorite. Great comfort and visibility. I plan on buying a second one for my son. Plenty of compliments too. A very good product. Aug 27, 2013

A shopper asked: What's the difference between the AGV Blade and the AGV Blade Tab and the AGV Blade FX? Is it just the paint scheme? Jul 10, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jose V: You are correct. The only difference between the three helmets is the paint scheme which changes the price. If you choose to go with this helmet you will be pleased. It's an awesome choice. Good luck and ride safe. Jul 10, 2014
