Yoshimura Chassis Protectors help minimize damage from sliding type falls, can save you hundreds of dollars in repairs, and maybe keep you from getting a DNF on race day. The plastic construction is soft enough to slow slides and wear down slowly... yet tough enough to keep the track away from your bike in most cases.
These Chassis Protectors are specifically engineered for the Ninja 300. Brackets are bolted to key structural areas behind the fairing, tieing into the upper and lower engine mounts. These provided stout mounting positions for the chassis protectors through the fairings.

Brent R:This will indeed fit an ABS model Ninja 300. I have them on my Ebony ABS 300.
A few helpful tips
- Helps a lot to have a second person to hold the nuts as you tighten the bolts
- Some of the nuts are tricky to put on and hold in place while the bolt is being tightened so make sure you have the proper extended/flexible tools to get at them. If not you will likely have to drop the radiator (not hard) temporarily to get at the nuts. ( Extended magnets are helpful as you will likely drop a nut)
- Be mindful of the cables that run slightly in the way of where your tools need to go as you can potentially damage your throttle. Avoid them if you can or move/press them gently out of the way. ( You could end up with a throttle that doesn't snap back and simply sticks.This has been a reported issue for some people doing this mod)
- Make sure you have a floor jack as the main engine mount bolts will be temporarily removed when you put the slider ones in. If you do not have one it will be difficult to support the engine and prevent the engine from becoming misaligned with the engine mount holes. The best spot to use the jack is on on the oil pan (may want to place a block of wood between the two).
-When cutting the holes in the fairing you can go smaller then the pre-outlined hole cut guide but if you do use the standard guide the sliders will cover the hole just fine. ( I would suggest a spade bit or rotary tool to make the hole)
- Very helpful YouTube videos have been made specifically for the installation of these sliders on this bike that are very thorough. I would also recommend looking up the fairing removal/installation videos to avoid damaging fairing tabs and preventing fairing gaps once you are done)
